I think if we did a non anonymous poll about who are swingers or whose wife is bi the results would be very different, if you could actually see who voted for what.

It's very easy for some people to play a fantasy if you dont have your name to it. The true swingers and bi wives wouldnt care a toss if their name was put there.

Regarding moderators etc.

When I switched over to the new forum format at Christmas time I changed things around with current Mods. The way I went is that only people who were involved with that particular group would be Mods of that particular forum.

So, for the Spring Break forum only Spring breakers would be mods, for the Living in Cancun forum only people who lived in Cancun would be Mods and likewise only people who frequent TTR would be mods on the TTR forums. For the TTR forums that left me, Waste and JohnC as the only Mods. JohnC and Waste aren't around very much any more so it's pretty much down to me these days.

In years gone by Karan (a previous Mod) was particularly against swinging threads and I have to say I didnt necessarily agree but she had a huge following and anything I did to the contrary of her would have reflected badly on me from her 'fanclub', so I kind of let it go. These days, Karan is long gone so it is pretty much in my hands to dictate policy, and I'm more tolerant to such threads as I believe in allowing everyone their say.

But there does come a point where the amount of sexual threads gets to a point that it starts putting other people off from contributing to the forum and even visiting the hotel. That's why I've been moving them over here. That said if this forum becomes full of sexual threads then it defeats the object of it's existence and I'll have to consider doing away with them altogether.

I have thought about a totally separate forum for swingers but as I said before that only brings divisions, and where there are divisions it brings conflict.

I'm always open to change, but my main priority is keeping most of the people happy most of the time. It's no easy task but I do what I think is right and dont intend to exclude any group - even if it may appear that way sometimes.

Very well said Steve, totally agree with you. There's a lot a dreamers on CC who I feel vote which distorts the truth. The swinger poll was a lot higher than I thought it would be and I think it isn't an accurate figure. I feel there's a lot less swingers at TTR than that poll showed.

The fantasy threads are great because it's a wish list for lots and lots of couples which is good fun. Don't envy you having to patrol these threads Steve and I think limiting or banning swinger/sexual threads would make life a lot easier for you matex

Walking the line is always tough Steve.

I remember one of the posters said, well if you don't like the subject, don't open the thread. But I recomend this site to lots of people everyday. So when those people sign on, they will read all the threads to see what it's all about. So do I want to send them to a site that they might get the impression that my wife Chris is a swinger? OK.. if they thought that of me I might not care that much but it would make Chris less than thrilled. So while the nuber of swinger realted posts are high, I don't do much recommendations.

And although TTR is sexually charged, it is, to Les' point made several times, not a swinger friendly hotel. Yes there are swingers there. There are swingers at every hotel. But if a swinger signed onto CC in the last few months they would expect a much different environment then what they would find when they arrive. So I think a lot of the push back previously was to 1) make sure people knew what they were getting, or not getting, into, and 2) to keep a resort that is walking the fine line between being sexually charged and being a true swinger hotel on the sexually charged side of the line.

Reading this forum about the hotel,... i wont lie, i was often turned on. But walking into the hotel.... its nice.... but didn't feel as crazy as everyone made it seemed. Not everyone was topless..... actually quite a few weren't. It was nearly impossible to get a lounger anywhere though, and when u do get one people come and steal them when you go in the pool or to get a drink.

About it being a swinger resort.... I honestly wouldn't believe it if they did a anonymous survey and more than 8% where swingers. To be honest, a lot of the people there actually seemed a bit prude. I dont even consider myself to be THAT freaky either! lol.

Members & lurkers, read and believe what you want.... but it honestly just takes a visit to form an opinion of your own. Naturally, different things may happen everyday! haha.... so no two days are ever the same!

and on a side note..... I was the one that formed the "schlong poll". It was about length, width, and whatever.... and I NEVER would have randomly done that... but there was one about boobs and people were saying they wish there was one for the ladies, so naturally I made one for them. Hammie is right, I'm afraid. On our one tripto Temptations Cancun the vast majority of women had tops on. My busty wife said, "Gee, another trip where the spectators watch me all day being topless. We can get this scene back in the states at any hotel pool." Just being honest here. We really wish the spectator types would stay somewhere else....Of course they have the right. But honestly, this is an adults only topless resort. This is similar to wearing your clothes at a nudist resort, kinda pathetic....

Don't worry that is usually first thing in the morning. Seems alot of women need liquid courage to do it so the bar doesn't open until 10:00. Once there is booze then the tops fall off. At temptation los cabos I was the only one for hours and considering we went only three weeks after it was no longer a Desire that was shocking. Still it didn't bother me. Once the top is off it's off and that is the hardest part. iT'S incredibly freeing and if you are at all self conscious as I used to be about my size then it will help change your views.
