Ah it was such a brilliant weekend. You really can't get your head around the amount of work Rob and T put into making sure everyone has a good time.

No drama just lots of laughs who could ask for more.

Thank you again for a fantastic time... now if you can just get that imigration queue sorted for next year....!!!

thanks for the kind words - truly a special event which will be made even more special next year as we are taking the event on the road and going to new orleans for a saggy bottom/cancuncare reunion...............expecting more cancuncare people next year............a ton more

t and i are going to new olreans this weekend for kendras birthday with several saggy bottom bunch people and while we are there we will get a better feel for how many people we will be able to have next year.................but we are hoping for at least 100 and possibly as many as 150 (depends upon how many people the bars we are selecting (also doing that this weekend) will allow us to bring in

of course this will have to be an afternoon pub crawl (1-7 p.m as opposed to an evening one) and we are going to limit it to only pubs that can handle large groups

the biggest change this year and perhaps the most positive one is.....

we are also going to be doing some charity work associated with the event this year - the past several years we have had to pay for the bus and everything related................but this year.............since we will be hoofing it.............and we dont have to pay for a bus ........we are going to be donating 100 percent of the money raised/taken in ---------to a childrens charity in honor of the children several of us have lost



of course we are going look at blocking out about 50 to 60 hotel rooms (checking on locations this weekend) for that weekend and doing a big 2nd line parade right through the heart of the french quarter (checking on permits this weekend) and we are going to have some awesome games and some great pubs

will establsih a grand marshall for the parade (person who raises the most money for the charity)

its all still in the initial stages but we are truly excited about next year

kat (of tmac/kat on cancuncare) has already set the theme for next years party/parade as fairy tale characters/story book characters/fantasy characters

hansel/gretel
jolly green giant
cat in the hat
snow white
jack n jill

................options are endless

will start a thread when we get back and in the meantime--- i will do what we can to get rid of that immigration line for those of you traveling to the party from overseas

Wow... looks like such a good time, we would be very interested, that is if you allow Canadians...LOL. We have wanted to go New Orleans for years, this would be a very good reason to go. Looks like you guys really know how to party.

would be an honor to have you guys

we have met several canadians like james/lee, janice/scott, glenn/monique, craig/ginny and many others in cancun and through cancuncare and i am gong to insist that we have a large canadian contingent in new orleans that weekend

will be thoroughly pissed if they dont show up in droves

..............will be a party we will all never forget and we are going to do it for a great cause to boot

Well I'm pretty sure you can count us in, this sounds great, and as you said you'd be pissed if a bunch of us didn't show... and I've read some of your rants... I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of one of those...LOL.. Thanks Rob & T will talk to the other half tonight. Wow New Orleans ... another thing on my bucket list..
