not sure about being robbed but hey man what a great recovery by the usa.
once again a dull and dreary match by engerland in fact very poor only decent player on the park was algerias bougherra who plays for glasgow rangers.
keep a close watch on both chile and argentina for the later stages oh and by the way the usa still look good for the next stage as do slovenia......what say you steve gulp!!!!!!!

That is the worst i have ever seen England play! disjointed, couldn't stop giving the ball away, couldn't hit the target and disturb the bird sat on the Algerian goals, but worst of all Rooney has had both his legs transplanted with two stilts!!!!!
What happened to the team that qualified so easily? On second thoughts don't answer that.

USA were robbed of a perfectly good third goal. What a comeback.

US were robbed. You won't see that ref again. Time to vent. I'm Colombian and Marlene is German so last few cups have been tough cause Colombia hasn't even made it in. This one is especially tough cause even playing in their first cup in that continent, African teams have 1 win and 5 losses. South Americans have 5 wins and no losses. How does Africa get 6 teams in and SA only 5.

USA vs Slovenia: Fantastic comeback by the US. As for the disallowed goal, there was nothing wrong with it. USA should have won 3:2 and currently be top of the group. Looks like the ref is suspended from officiating any further games, and quite right too. Probably the best game of the Cup so far. Who said football is boring?

England vs Algeria: Extremely poor performance by many of the best paid players in the World, and probably the most boring game I've watched so far. No creativity against a team determined to defend. Great individual players, poor team. Les, please point me to the post where I said we would win it. You dont stop supporting your team just because they have bad game - as you should know as a Liverpool fan (English club) LOL

In this group it all goes down to the last game, and any team in Group C can still qualify. I fancy England to actually perform to their potential against Slovenia and qualify to the next round.

As for those who revel in England's lacklustre performances so far, well think of France Italy and Spain too, even Germany look wobbly after a good first game. And just think of how badly you would have done had you actually managed to make it that far Oh and I note we beat Scotland by 7 wickets the other day in a one day International. I'm sure we beat Wales at something recently too, we usually do

2 more wins for the South Americans. The short passing game from the more technical sides are having a much easier time adjusting to the very bouncy ball in that altitude. Long ball, physical teams are having a much tougher time. Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile have all looked better than they really are due to their opponents looking bad.

good point my man and very well observed if england had picked up on that then they may well still have a chance of qualifying.
those points were picked up by one of englands goalies prior to going to s africa shame nobody listened to him.
maybe they would not be in the position they are now.

England go through, could easily have been 4-0.

Albeit in 2nd place thanks to a last minute goal by the US at the very same second the England game ended - saving them from going out and sending Slovenia home instead. Well deserved considering the US performances so far. There were many celebratory handshakes between US and England supporters at Pat O Briens today. Let's see what happens later on and who the respective teams play in the quarter finals.

Stick that up your kilt!

steve if you saw what was up my kilt mate then you would know there is no room to stick anything else up it ha ha.
well done the usa best football by a long way to win the group engerland again huffed and puffed their way through a boring game its now just the small matter of overcoming the germans to reach the last 8
ps. scotland hammered slovenia in their neck of the woods 3-0 in the world cup qualifying so guess that makes us better than your mob steve even though we didnt reach witchdoctor country lol.

Default Engerland were dire.

well what a shocker by the english today the score could have hit double figures thats how bad it was.
now rather than gloat at the english I will say this once more, league reconstruction plus the influx of over the hill players from foreign countries killed our game in Scotland I did say that this would happen south of the border but I was scoffed at today showed it has finally knackered england.
another pointer today is the need for technical replay cameras to sort out disputes like engerlands brilliant goal by frank lampard which was dissallowed because the ref was way behind play.
football result germany 4 engerland 1 could have been 10-2
to finish of with below this is what I have been hiding up my kilt for weeks.

Englands goal should have OBVIOUSLY counted...... and then the score would have been 2-2 at that point with a likley different outcome.....not say England would have won....but doubtfully Gremany would have ended with 4.

Mexico was a great place to be during the world cup!

yes it should have counted but!!!!! at the same time germany should have also scored 5-6 goals by then so at the end of the day the result was correct and a drubbing for the sassenachs im afraid.
