booze question

any suggestions on bringing booze in to the resort ...by that I mean if I pick up something that I prefer...can I get the bartenders to put it on the bar.

I am a Canadian and like my "Rye" but most times in Mexico you can't get it...and if youi don't know what you are looking at their substitues are stuff you would'nt wash out paint brushes in.... no issue I drink something else.

1-I was thinking that if I picked up a few bottles would they stock it for me? (I did this at another resort..and we made a party out of it every time we cracked it open)

I mean... What could possibly go wrong (beside a couple empty bottles?)

General thoughts, comments or suggestions?

I suppose I could keep it in my room..but how much fun would that be?

IIRC, they'll keep your bottles behind the bar for you. I'll probably test this out myself with a bottle of George Dickel the next time I'm there.

They're happy to do it - better for the resort if you're not drinking their inventory. I drink Southern Comfort and have never seen it in a resort. It's a win-win deal!

Hmm have you people had problems with your IV lines getting plugged? My booze goes in without much problem...

I think one of these years I will try to IV lines, sure beats Woody going to walmart for bottles and bottles of tequila and all of us having to suffer for it lol
