|  Mardi Gras 2011 anyone? We just can't... get to TTR until Sept of this year but will be with friends in the French Quarter March 1-5 (before the college kids arrive Saturday the 5th and turn it all into a zoo). We DO love the live music venues there, especially the dixieland jazz at several spots, the great food and funny, outgoing people. Look for us on a balcony somewhere...there will be dozens of picturetakers below, ahem... |

| Bart and Annette, Just to be clear: You will be there the 3rd thru the 6th? If so, you are brave. Last time we were there the Saturday before Fat Tuesday we got puked on (at?), boobs grabbed and sensibilities offended....All before breakfast of course...We are not dull to be around but do like to keep our drinks in our stomachs. The college crowd is sumthin' to behold...What is your favorite drinkin' spot? |

All sounds fun except for the getting puked on (or at), and we may be ready to move somewhere else by Saturday. Our youngest lives there and I am sure we can move away from the FQ to one of the other areas if we get tired of the kids. I am usually pretty close to the back bar at the Famous Door.
