| OK, so we aren't even going to go into how I am over the fact that my bank that I had to get my money out of took 18 days for a process that should take "up to 5 days" and there is already more...I get the check today and go to the bank. Sure - they'll cash it and put it in as cash. They do one deposit for the $500 cash that I have, and one deposit for the $1900 "cashed" check. Bank website shows it all available. Life is happy, I go to orbitzsucks and proceed to buy the trip. The trip, which was $1400 for 8 days is now $1330 for 5 days ($2600 for 8 days!! Yikes!). I go to purchase it.... wait for it.... It gets declined. The bank seems to think I only have $567 (the first cash deposit and $27 that happened to be there). The weird thing is that orbitzsucks declined the transaction and HELD the $567 that was there. WTF? This is fine, I call the bank and they fix it the part where the money wasn't available. I still have $1830ish available for a $1330 booking - so we should be good. I go on again and it's declined AGAIN. GET THIS - ORBITZSUCKS HELD ANOTHER $567. This makes no sense. The $567 was already held. They should have been able to either charge the whole damn thing or NONE of it. There is no way $567 could be held again except by computer error. Now they are holding $1143 (includes $2 charges too!) of my money. So, My bank says they can't remove the holds, they tell me I have $1255 available, I've talked to at least 8 people at orbitzsucks (including the one who acted like he knew how to fix it before he hung up on me by accident), I've been mostly on hold for over an hour and a half (still on hold), no trip is booked, AND I might be freaking out. Help.

| Wait! There's another!! Only cause now this shit is just funny. They try to help me for an hour before they send me to a "supervisor." The guy answers and says "I hear that you requested to be transferred to a supervisor. May I have your booking number?" Are you fucking kidding me?!?! MY BOOKING NUMBER?!?! She didn't even say why I was transferred after helping me for an hour. So now that fucker pretty much had to start over with calling the same people.

| OH - it's not done. The holds are off....but the money that was held still goes toward my "maximum" that the bank card lets me use in a day - so it will still get declined until tomorrow. The bank is working on clearing that one.

| OMG there is more. I asked for a discount. They offered me a voucher. And I will get it 24-48 hours. Not very useful for this trip. Apparently, I found a computer anomaly that VERY RARELY happens. Yup. Thanks orbitzsucks.

| you shouldve booked with expedia. before i booked all my trip via ORBITZ...til this year when i found out that with EXPEDIA, you have 3 options for payment: 1. Split the total trip with 2 different credit cards 2. Pay 40% of the total cost of the trip now and pay rest 30days prior to your trip 3. Pay in FULL i picked #2. coz i booked my trip 3months before my departure and was able to keep the LOWEST price for my trip. $900 for 7nights all inclusive at golden parnassus and with non stop flight at GREAT hours of departure bothways. |

| Expedia doesn't have jet blue! From Boston- Jb is cheap, nonstop, and pleasant. About $200 cheaper than expedia. But the payment thing sounds cool.

| Don't use Expedia they left us stranded in Mexico last year and we had to buy full fare tickets on to get home on a different airline to the tune of $550+. They changed our flight time to be 7 hours earlier and didn't notify us and in fact the website still had the original flight time for 2 days after the flight before they changed it. Once I was back here they started offering to put me on standby for $120 a person for the next day even though I just got through explaining to them that we are back in the US. Long story short after 3 months of arguing with them and trying to get some refund for leaving us there and the best thing they ever offered was $100 toward future travel...I will not ever use them again and tell anyone I can not to use them
