Last Minute Question!!

Ok, so we leave tomorrow night and arrive Thursday afternoon.. And I just wanna make sure I get everything right. Is there a need to bring cashiers checks or will I be fine with some cash and my visa debit card(which can be run as credit)??? Should I exchange some US dollars for pesos when i get there right off the bat??

we have always (11 trips) taken trv checks and $25 per day in $1 bills just for tips. never had a problem cashing the trv cks anywhere and the front desk will change them out in pesos. make sure all bills are in like new condition- any marked on, torn or badly worn can not be used or exhanged by the local guys. also us coins are not used. have a safe and great trip. rick
