Temptations or Desire

My wife and I are first timers and we are currently booked at Temptations but I'm starting to think that Desire might be better for us. Looking for suggestions from people who have been to both.

Have you had an adult vacation b4? Desire is quite a bit more laid back, much less in your face than is TTR. Desire is full nude and of course TTR is not. If money is not an object, I'd suggest Desire.

We have been to Desires a few times and wife enjoys the all nude beach beds, and the relaxed environment, its not by any means a high energy resort. We did Temptations Cabo Last year and had a great time the entertainment staff was great and really kept everyone involved. This year we are doing Cancun Temptation for New Years.

Simply put, if you can afford Desire go there. It's heads and shoulders above TTR!

Hold on a minute! It depends what they are looking for. Desire is nicer n more classy for sure, but if you're looking for up tempo party atmostphere you will be disappointed. TTR is a party spot no doubt about it!

Hey there! My husband and I wondered the same thing too. Our first trip to Mexico, we went to Tempations for a few days and had a blast! The next year we decided to do half the week at tempations and half at Desire. We were a little nervous, as we weren't sure what Desire would be like. That vacation, the crowd at Tempations was a blast...we hated to leave to go to an "unknown". We were happy with our decision to do both. Desire is very classy! At temptions, there were twenty-somethings taking cell phone pics as I sunbathed topless. There is nothing like that at Desire! No cameras....total respect for privacy. There are even celebrities that frequent Desire for just that reason. Desire has better service, drinks and food, but is a quieter more sophisticated crowd. Don't get me wrong....there are some crazy things that go on in the hot tub at Desire! Which brings me to the next thing that my husband and I were concerned with about Desire....the swinging. There is definitely a swinging atmosphere there, but everyone is super respectful! There were several non-swingers there who just like the atmosphere, there were some soft-swingers who just wanted to spice things up in their relationships, and then there were the full swingers who seemed to have a secret code amongest themselves. ( we were outsiders....not sure what their signal was....gave us entertainment trying to figure it out

) Anyways, the service and atmosphere are great at both! Tempations is more lively (and more people ) and seemed to be a more diverse crowd. Desire is a bit more older( 30's-50's )crowd, but just as fit and good "eye-candy" as Tempations. In fact, the Desire crowd was the types who should have their clothes off! Tempations was a younger, crazier, more entertaining crowd! I hope I've helped you...I feel like I'm rambling. If you have any more specific questions please feel free to ask! Desires is definately more high end and no singles

when we go to cancun we do 2 nights TTR the 5 nights Desire more younger crowd at TTR more of a party all day long desire nice and peace in the day Wild at night

But we choose Desire

Of all the people we know that have been to TTR and Desire, Desire is without question their choice. It's just that much better!

I just met a couple that went to Desire last year and are returning to TTR this year because it was just too laid back for them. I have been to high end, boring resorts and have no desire to go to Desire. We are making our 5th trip to TTR and cannot wait. We need over the top fun and friendly people. We always find it at TTR. Temptation or Desire? We planned on going to Desire but changed our minds at the last minute and booked Temptation. We stayed at the El Dorado last year and visited Hidden Beach a few days. Very laid back!

We've been to TTR too. 6 times, and we'll likely go back, but we desire Desire!
