Default question about the party hopper

I see that the resort offers a party hopper tour.
Is is only offered on specific nights?
Has anyone done this? If so, what did you think of it?
Would it be better to just go with the staff to one particular club on the night it is offered?
Thanks!!

OK, well, I'm gonna try this again.

Isee that the club offers a prty hopper tour. I have also found one here on this site that we can book in advance. Are they different?
Can we book it for any given night, or does it only go on particular nights?

I believe it runs 6 nights a week but am not 100% sure about that.

There's only one bar hopper in Cancun now so no matter where you book it is the same itinerary.

If it were me, I'd say just go with the activity staff to a club you're interested in checking out. But everyone has their on preferences and honestly mine tend to run towards not enjoying the big clubs at all.

I much more prefer the downtown local bars so I'm probably not the best person to answer this question.

Read the sticky thread on what happens on what nights to see the different clubs that BBG staff takes you too. Usually, you get VIP and it's not anymore expensive. My suggestion is to go to Coco Bongo the show is amazing. Senior Frogs is a big favorite also although I have never been Ron and I are going to do that one in June. Have a great time!

Our 1st trip to Cancun we did the party hopper, we didn't care for it much, as soon as you start having fun at one bar, they round you up and take you to another bar, and the last bar that was on our tour was The City where we were stuck right by the speakers which needless to say was so loud we didnt' even make it through the show, and we left well before we wanted to.

I have talked to several other people and they really enjoyed it, its a great way to see at least 3 or 4 different places in one evening, we just preferred after that to just go with the resort at the end of the night.

I recommend any hopper tours that have Senor Frogs, coco bongo's in the tour, they really are the 2 best touristy clubs that Cancun has!

Have Fun!

Thanks for your responses everybody.

I beleive we will stick with the resort outings, definately to Congo Bongo's and possibly Senor Frogs as well.
I think everyone in our group is in agreement on this.

Do any of you know where Hooter's in Cancun is located? Larry (who is traveling with us) is supposed to pick up a t-shirt for a co-workr and we'd like to get one for our oldest son.

Hooters is right next to all the other clubs, across from Bulldog and the City.

Thank you Dennis. I thought I had heard that somewhere before.
I have no idea where anything is in Cancun. I have a map, that is a bit difficult to read.

This will be our first trip to Cancun. We were supposed to go last fall, but Wilma got there a few days ahead of us and cancelled our plans. We ended up in Jamaica instead. We have been there about 5 times. We are really looking forward to visiting someplace different!

go here http://www.discoverycancun.com/Resta...Hooters/#Globe

and then click 'satellite' to the right.

you'll get to see exactly where it is, from above. zoom in and out with the '+' and '-' buttons. you can also hold the mouse button in and drag the map around.

for list of all restaurants with similar listings:

Well worth the $8 and in my opinion everyone should have one. I know several locals who just love them as well.

Even with as many times as we've been there lately, i bought a new one a few months ago. For both cancun and isla. really well worth the money.

I couldn't agree more, Bev.

And the newest addition of the Cancun map is even better than the original...and I thought that one would be impossible to top.

Definitely worth the cost. No doubt about it.
