Not in lingerie (boxers or less for men)... no entrance.

Not sure how strict they are for the White Night thing. I'll be wearing a white polo or other white shirt, and khaki shorts because I couldn't find any white pants or shorts. If they kick me out I'll be forced to drink elsewhere. Oh no!

We were not sure what "anything goes" meant either..... Anyone else out there know?

As for the dress code, the Wife was wearing a Pink VS lingerie shirt and a thong and they wouldn't let her in until she changed. so they can kinda be (insert bad word) about it.

Is there a collective CC and TTR calender out there? We are trying to plan nights to go off the reservation...

School Girl Night is not put on by the resort. Last year, it was organized during our trip by CC members.

If you like it, try to get it organized during your stay. If you are there the last week of February, it may be on the calendar.

"Nice Shoes Bar" is the bar next to the Sports Bar with the pool tables. The name comes from strip clubs and what a guy or lady will say to the performers once they are down to nothing but their shoes.....

Nice Shoes is a way to compliment a lady is a respectful manner. It can be used to compliment any or all of the body parts at once. PS..Women have been know to use it on men too!

Beats the hell out of saying "Nice Tits!"

Anything Goes is a re-introduction of an old popular favorite. Just depends on how it is implemented this time. The old game consisted of the bar being divided up into two halves. The MC would then award points to each side based upon their completion of tasks. For example, he (or she) would hold out their hand and say the first team to put an AMEX Gold Card in my hand gets a point. Teams would scramable to give their Team Captain a card to put in their hand. Then they would say something like the team with the largest shoe pile wins a point. So every one on each team would throw out their shoes and the captian would build a pile as high as they could. Depending on the crowd and the MC things could get going so good that... well let's see what they have in store for us now. Point is, don't miss it and as always, participate!

I am interested in the dueling panios... seen that done other places with fantactic success so I'm interested in seeing how it goes over here. If anyone has any reports I would be interested.

Actually, I think the original poster is correct. Saying "nice shoes" to someone has been a saying for a long time in the midwest (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota) and it was always referenced back to the story the OP told. That is always the way I have heard it even prior to ever seeing/hearing it at TTR. Either that or the joke pick up line..."Nice Shoes...Wanna F*CK"

I started going to BBG in 1999 and Nice Shoes was in use then and was mean as a compliment. I know it was there before then because is was on all the shirts and has been used over the years. Even had a Nice Shoes Universaty for a while. Since lots of folks from the midwest seem to frequent BlueBay Village / Blue Bay Getaway / Temptation (as it's been know for the over 35 years is been around) the expression might have made its way up there.

Or maybe Enrique and Chinos took it from a guest that came down and gave it the new meaning at the resort. We'll have to ask them sometime.

Ever wanna hear it done right, have your wife ask Enrique, the DJ, give you one of the old Niiice Shoooes from back when he was the Entertainment Manager.

Over the years people added the "Wanna F*ck" onto the end and it kinda took away from the niceness if the expression in the beginning.

So just know that when the oldtimers that have been around for a while use it, we're giving it as a compliment. Besides, I don't think Lowrider would have had it tatooed on his butt if he was just refering to strippers. Then again.....

A girl I have been friends with since high school actually used the pickup line "Nice Shoes, wanna f*ck" to pick up a guy at a bar in Saskatoon. She had never been to BBG/TTR to that point. I think there must be a movie/tv show at some point that popularized the expression.

Thanks for the info on Anything Goes, Jamie. We usually leave on Tuesday so we have never been as we make it an early night. This year we leave on Wednesday so we definitely will have to participate.

Wherever the saying came from, let's drop the Wanna F&ck. I always thought of it as a compliment for my huge collection of footwear.
