if its any consolation i know a female that had it done and said it didnt really hurt at all. but i know a guy that had it done and he said it was so painful...and the piercer said that its more painful for a man than it is for a woman and its the most painful spot for a man to get done...supposedly.

Monique and Diana - you two ladies have my total and complete respect - there is no way I'd ever do either- I AM chicken - hahaha--- and this comes from a lady who has 10 tattoos!!

Me - 10 tattoos- and won;t do any piercings.......... dunno - I guess I'm more into the art.......... but I think they're (piercings) amazing on others!!

Be strong - and remember- like I tell others who are getting tattoos for the first time - its a TEMPORARY "pain" - it will pass and it will subside!

I have had that special place done but, I was drunk in Cancun at the time. This will be my first piercing sober.

Female piercer, so that will be a first time for me being touched by a female. I think I might really do this. Diana your making it easier for me. Thanks, I knew you would help. Now I have to decide barbells or rings. Rings are 55.00, barbells are 65.00. My husband doesn't think I'll go through with it. He didn't think I'd do the other one either. The hood is not bad, it heals so fast.

Watch out for the shower doors! :shock:

Know a guy that got it done and he was all good and everything till he went into the shower and hit his nipple on the door. He said that was much more painfill than getting it done in the first place. :wink:

I can't tell you which to get, barbells or rings...just that I have barbells. As for scarring...again, not sure on that.

I was out shopping tonight and bought two new pieces for my navel...maybe I should get new ones for my nipples too.

My husband was bugging me and saying this is my mid life crisis. Whoooooooooo, a piercing that's a pretty small crisis. That's okay he's motivated me to do to pick his ass. We were watching porno valley last night and the girl had barbells. Glenn liked the barbells supposely (just the barbells). Might do barbells as they are very fitting for me as a trainer. I have a ring down below. I wonder if Elma .5% numbing creme would do the trick. Debating on getting some. I will bring advil or maybe even some pills I had for pain when i had a kidney stone. I thought if I get a barbells then i get a two green ones to match my new bikini. I was scared last night, even thought of cancelling but, today I think right now I'm good. I know i want to do this and if I get this far and chicken out I might never do it. You strongly suggest I take advil huh! It probably wouldn't hurt for you to take some too. Hopefully you'll get a piercer that does it faster than mine. It really only hurts for a minute and it's pretty mild over the next few days. if you did nipples you can do this one honest. I will be fun to hear the details later, as I barely remember mine.

When I was talking to the guy yesterday that will be doing my piercing said not to bother with the cream, and the guy who did my nipples never even suggested it...so not sure if it'w worth it. My guy siad that it's over in less than a minute...I would be in and done and out the door in about 10 minutes...I'm getting butterflies...but their not nervous butterflies, they're excited butterflies. the same kid I get when Rob is coming home after a trip. I'll fill you in on all the details.

I'm getting butterflies too. Not scared but excited. I must like pain or something. My husband played lots last night as he figures it may be a while before he can touch. I was thinking of maybe getting a horizontal down below too. 3 piercing in one day may be too much though. Did you decide horizontal or vertical or clitoral? i guess you could let me know later in your piercing TR. You'll like it, you'll see when it's all healed.

Sounds like a case of nerves. Diana, after getting nipples and tongue done this is not going to be bad. The skin there is so thin and theres not much to it. If you go horizontal the piercing will sit where you want it too and you'll go through a little more skin. I'd do this one again in a minute. The only thing scary about this piercing is it's location and putting that location in the hands of a stranger. Wear loose pants and underwear, tight jeans or underwear will irritate a fresh piercing. After it's done there's not much pain unless the piercing gets hit so only occassional twitchs of pain. Trust me you'll be laughing. Me on the other hand, I have no doubt that this is going to hurt. Not sure if creme would help. It's fast right so I might just suck it up. I can do this, i know it. Hell I'm doing this.
