Swinging?

The other day at TTR, two of the maintenance crew were taking swings down, but it turned out that they were just replacing the ropes in two of them. For a while, I was not sure where swingers were going :wink:

One year, I was approached by a couple. They were polite & didn't make me feel uncomfortable. My wife (at the time

) & I kindly told them we weren't interested & they were respectful & understanding. From my observation, they were all professionals, with children back home, just out looking to have fun in their own way.

well, I think perhaps that swaying is certainly something my hubby and I are up to! Sounds like harmless mojo revving fun!

And I am glad they just replaced the ropes, in case we want to swing too! Too cute, the pics of you swinging by the way!

How did I miss this thread for that long!!! After reading 5 pages...my 2 cents worth..if anyone cares!! Swaying...awesome term. As for swinging, being hit on, whatever. We hung out one night with a couple who were openly swingers on our last trip to BBG. Made it obvious we weren't. They didn't care. We hung out, talked some crazy stuff that night. Shared stories, etc, but never felt pressured. We weren't looking to and the 4 of us where just BOMBED and having fun chatting etc. My wife was hit on a few times. Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't. I don't know. Probably not!! LOL. But I know she was and it never bothered me. It was settle, in good taste and whatever. It's just SEXY fun. I refer to it as adult Spring Break. It's where we go now that we can't go to Spring Break with the college or HS kids anymore.

And yes, definitely a place you can feel comfortable...all shapes, sizes, makes, and models.

hi there all you swayers, :wink: we cant wait to get back, as for all you newbies, just go with an open mind, after 10 mins by the pool, you will wonder why you had any concearns about TR, if you want to go

fine, if you dont, that is also fine, if you want to wear thongs

, fine, the whole point of going on vacation is feeling comfortable in youselves, yes there will probably be swingers there, who knows, they could be right next door to you now, we have been aproached a few times, just take it as a compliment, you yourselves will know your boundries, and if there are any problems, as jamie said, your group will sort them out, yes there is sexual atmosphere there, adults only, sun,drink,the entertainment team make sure of that, the swaying term, to us ,is to really enjoy yourself, like you never could at home, in great adult company, as you said, just some harmless fun, what happens in cancun, stays in cancun :lol: we know you will all have a blast, going to the old bbg was a great eye opener for us, and the best vacation we had ever had, up till then, have a swaying good time. we are so ready to get to the sun and :lotsofmichaelf: :beerdrink: :bigband:

Ahh, swaying. Yep, we have used that term at BBG for a while now. And Jamie is right, we are very protective of our group, most people who sway are friends and are easy to be friends with.

The term swayer started with all the group just being friendly, hugging here, hugging there, always a little smile and maybe a kiss on the cheek. New people would see that and ask, "Are youy all swingers?" We just said, "No, we arent swingers, we're swayers." We'd just all laugh and have fun and soon we'd add more friends to the group, right Jamie? Dave? Marsh? Jack? Craig? and all you others!! lol

May is gonna be a great swaying time! :devil:

and Jimmy, we're really gonna miss you and Sherrill. You should have asked MJ and me..we want to see Cabo too :wink:

My husband and I have been there twice. I never even realized it was a "swingers" hangout until the end of our second time there! Made me feel absolutely naive. You will have the best time of your life there. It was also our first vaca spot without the kids and we don't even want to consider going anywhere else for our adult-only vacations.

PS. You may enter as a non-swinger and leave as a swinger - you never know!!!

I really love the term swaying ... it means going skinny dipping in the ocean and changing underwear and laughing and just being silly and touching and hugging and being friendly and being sexual with each other without having sex. It just wets the appetite for you partner and then you go back to your room and work off all that sexual tension. I loved BBG now called Temtation Resort Spa. Best place in the world too relax and let loose and leave all you problems at home.

So funny....

We originally booked in November for January. For a month I was sending reviews and stuff off the web that stressed that it isn't a swingers resort.

Then right around Jan 1 we get an email that the name changed to Temptations and we had to revisit that conversation.

Then I screwed up my passport and we had to rebook for April. in the meantime a friend told us it was a swingers resort and it was deja vu all over again.

Looking forward to some big fun.

Although there are sometimes some swingers there they don't bother you ...they tend to sense other swingers and leave non-swingers alone :!: :!:

All in all most people there are just looking for a laid back funfilled vacation with no crying kiddies near by

We are making our first trip the end of June. We are so excited. I am so glad I found this forum, I think you all have answered all my question. I think my husband and I are swayers, but you never know what you will do if you have enough to drink!

I don't know of anyone who has made the transition from non-swinger to swinger because of TTR. I think it does give you a sense of freedom that you can do things that maybe your mother wouldn't approve of and you won't go blind or get warts.

I think that most of us just become a little less up tight!

All I can say is that at this resort is the first time in my life that I actually felt no stress at all. We met some real great people that we are still friends with. I love this place and if you want a great place to get away and just let loose this is the place to go.

Swingers are very respectful and like some posts have said they under stand the word no means no and tend not to pursue it with that Cpl or single. This is not to say there are not the odd one or two that don’t take no as an answer but then like in a swingers club if they don’t respect you and you report them to the management they would get a warning. And if they still persist they would be asked to leave and after reading the rulebook last year when temptation was bbg I think the same would happen there. But one thing I/we do know is that you will have a blast at temptation its one big party and no judgement is taken on who or what you are or what you look like. That is why we are coming back like most of the people that go back we love the party atmosphere. Hope this helps with the question about swingers at temptation unless you had been told there was swinger’s their same time as you. You would not know they are there unless they approached you . :wink:

Exactly. That's what we loved about it too and why we're going back. I don't think I'll ever go to Mexico again and not stay here. We'll go back for years to come as long as it stays how it is now. The "no stress at all" is so true too. I tend to have a hard time leaving stress behind on vacations but all the madness at home....I completely forgot about the entire time we were there....and our May 2nd trip couldn't come soon enough because the stress level is higher this time then last!! LOL

So basically if you set out looking for a swinging couple you will probably find one. If you are looking to be wild and make out with someone or just get down and dirty dancing you will probably find someone. Or if you just want to set back and get drunk watching everyone else you will probably find someone to do that with too?
