|  Swinging? Okay, maybe you are not supposed to ask, but the way we found out about Temptations was through some friends of ours that are "swingers". We are not and when we became friends with this couple, didn't know they were. It's all fine and not a problem, but the reason why we booked is because they insisted that it would be the most fun vacation we have ever had(which won't be hard because we haven't been on vaca by ourselves).lol They said they meet "friends" of theirs at Temptations and of course they are all swingers. My question is, of the couples that go to Temptations, how many would you say are swingers? Of course I'm sure that you don't announce it to everyone on arrival, but just curious I suppose. How would you know if the people were swingers and are "new" couples ever approached to join? Crap, I sound like it's a secret club with a secret handshake or something. I think you all know what I mean though. So has anyone experienced being asked to join with a couple that are swingers?

| Been addressed numerous times. You won't know if someone is a swinger unless they approach you. We have been twice and never been approached. Don't let that whole issue be on top of your mind...if it happens you are approached and you are not interested just say so.

| jemstar, We have been to Temptations twice and are heading down in a month for our third time. We have never been approached by another couple while we have been at the resort. I think that I have been able to tell those who are into this but I am just making an educated guess, as I am not sure. I don't know if there is a "secret handshake" or anything else but don't worry about it. Most who are into this will take NO for an answer and move on. I am sure that your friends will tell you this. As for yourselves, go and have a great time. I can tell you from our experience, it is a blast. So, go, relax, and have the time of your lives. Derek |

| Relax... first if you are approached, take it as a compliment that you and your significant other are still desirable to others in the world.  If interested, say yes, if not say no. For true swingers, no means no and no offense is taken when you say no. For swinger wannabe's, well that's a different subject. Some folks think because you're going to an adult’s only resort with sexual overtones that you're up for the lifestyle. They have lost their inhibitions and therefore think you should too. So they will ask but not take no for an answer. They keep pestering. If that happens, you no longer have to be polite. You can even say very loudly in public that you are NOT INTERESTED IN SWAPING PARTNERS WITH THEM OR GOING OFF WITH THEM ALONE! That usually ends the conversation and they will leave you alone after that. We all know some swingers. Most of them are then best people to party with. So don't worry, you won't wake up one morning and go "What the hell just happen to me?" :wink: Jamie |

| Jemstar, Oh my gosh! You and your husband are going to have the times of you lives! My husband and I went fot the first time last year and went back two more times in the same year! Temptation is hard to explain, I have never been to a place that makes everyone feel comfortable no matter your age, size, race or lifestyle. As far as the swingers, we have had hints dropped but never outright asked and have never been made to feel uncomfortable in any way. We have seen it all unfold on a few occasions and have just sat back and cracked up at it all! The more they drink or the more we drink ( Im not sure which) the funnier it is! I will say we have met on every trip to TTR the best and most fun people of anyplace we have been and all are considered great friends! Just go and have a great time! Who knows, we may be there the same time as you and if so we'll have a shot together. Kathy |

| A while back someone referred to a lot of the folks at BBG/TR as swayers. That is, they don't swing, but they like to have fun and they enjoy the sexual overtones of the resort. I think that sums the place and the people up pretty well. This resort is probably the most unique place I have ever been for total acceptance. Big, little, short, tall, straight, gay, swinger, or whatever, all are accepted as just fun loving folks having a good time. Enjoy yourself and have fun.

| i love the term swayers. That's what we are.lol Love to flirt and play around, but that is as far as it goes. I have a tendency to want to flash the world when I have been drinking. Liquid courage I suppose. We will see what happens. I am up for it all. Life's to short right?

| My wife and I were at TTR last weekend, and after check in, a girl named Amber (who worked at the concierege desk) gave us a kinda informational meeting while waiting for our room. She come right out and asked "So are you 2 swingers?" (Wow....what a shock!) "There is alot of swinging that goes on here!" It was no more than just some toplessness, and some sexy games, some profanity, and alot of fun. We didnt see any swinging, nobody approached us, and after my wife got the whole "swinging" thing out of her head, we really had a great time! Temptations is alot like Nicotine.......once you have it, you always need it!

| Mrs. au022 here again. So, I guess what everyone is saying is to expect some attention, but most people are just having some adult fun and ultimately respect personal limits and boundaries. | It's nice to see that the Swaying term is still around..... *L*. We can't really add anything to this but agree with everyone else. A swingers first rule is NO means NO. Be involved in the activites no matter how goofy you think it is. You'll have fun. try this..  ... have a his day/her day....... on his day you do what he says.... on her day he does what you say...... that includes getting involved in the games and contests... .. for some reason it's easier to do somethings when you're being told to.. *L* |
