Body Piercings?

Mrs. au022 here with a question - how many people who go to TR have body piercings? I'm thinking about getting a navel piercing before I go. I think they are so sexy, but I'm a big chicken! Hubby of course is all for it (he said get the nipples too while you're at it), but he's not the one getting the needle! Any advice about what to expect should I decide to go for it?

I got mine done there on the beach. Hurt a bit, but looked real good, if I do say so myself.

You will see lots of piercings especially navel piercings.

When are you going?

Melinda got her belly button pierced a few years ago. It took a month or so to heal. Keep that in mind.

Wife has hers pierced, remember it does take a while to heal. You'll see plenty pf piercings.

AND you dont want to imerse it in water before it heals. I have my belly done and got it in Vegas but then couldnt get in the hotel pool after. That stunk so get it in plenty of time.

Nat has got her belly button done and yes you DON'T want to go in the water if it's not fully healed

i've had mine done, and i love it, but had it done at home by professional people, i'm not saying they are not at the hotel, but would'nt risk my holiday due to an infection, even having it done at home can result in an infection, get it done, but leave time before your vacation, i bathed mine 3 times daily, so never got an infection, not sure if you can go in the pool for a while, but salt water will be ok. you will see lots of the women with belly piercings and some even have nipple piercings and some other ones ops: some of the jewelry you can get is lovely, so get it done girl. its well worth it.

My wife and I both have our nips done and DO HERS LOOK GOOD! She also has her belly button done. Like they said CLEAN them every time you think about it!!! 3-5 times a day. Belly button did not hurt her she said but depending on your level of pain, THE NIPS HURT LIKE A .............

Yes. We were in South Padre for a week when Melinda got hers done. She had to stay out of the water the whole week.

I had asked her for years to get her belly button pierced and she said No. Then we were in South Padre and were passing a piercing place and the kids said, "Mom, you'd look good with one" and she said OK...go figure.

I got mine done right there on the beach. Quick and a short sharp pain but nothing bad. Did it on the last day there, which I would highly recommened. Soaked it in the ocean a couple times before we left. No problems at all.

Had my navel pierced twice and it takes a while to heal. When are you going? It takes about 4 good months to heal and 8 months to stop being red. I have since taken it out. My first one started migrating so I took it out then months later I pierced it again and in three months that one migrated too. I also had my nipples done. It hurts like hell. I did love them but, took them out cause being smaller I was really having issue with them showing through bras and clothes all the time. It might not be so bad if your boobs are bigger but, for me it ment I could no longer go braless especially in front of my kids. So just have one piercing left. I'll leave that one up to your imagination.

Migrating means that it starts to be refused by the body and slowy works its way out to the surface. it will literally fall out if you don't take it out. Left me with quite the scar. I miss it though but, I'm not going there a third time.

Had my nipple pierced at Senior Frog's last Tuesday night for $35!
Everything is healing fine.
The piercing didn't hurt because I was drunk though.
They do the piercings by the washrooms at the top of the stairs.

might be a little safer to get them done at home in a more sterile/controlled environment. Even the most professional piercing runs the risk of infection- why chance it while on holiday?

I am getting my belly button done on the 19th of March and looking forward to it. I have wanted to get this done for so long and I am finally going to do it. Will let everyone know how it goes. I have lots of ear piercings like 3 in one ear and 4 in the other.... would like more. Scared about getting the nipples done as I don't want to lose feeling in them.
