I was practically worthless at school today.
Couldn't keep my mind on anything but Cancun!
One of the kids asked me something and I stood and looked at her for a bit, and was like "processing, processing, processong...." finally I got it and could answer. Then all I could say was "I'm really sorry honey, my mind was somewhere else, and it just took me a minute to get it back here."

Please let this week go fast!!

I know what you mean. I have probably checked the boards 10 times today. I have a feeling the next week will be pretty unproductive! I know Terresa is just as excited as I am. 8 more days!!

Tons going on before the trip, today we go to Barrie for a hockey tournament and then the official nothing else to do countdown begins. I know we fly out of Toronto at around 6:10 so with the 1 hour change, 9 a.m. is probably correct, customs, luggage, airport transfer, check-in, change (cause the room won't be ready), we'll probably be at the swim-up bar around 12:00.

Found out this morning the airline my wife worked for,ATA, who was supposed to fly us to Cancun shutdown this morning.No warning,just gone.We had 1 free round trip each on them left to use.Our trip at this time is up in the air,we are trying to get seats on a different carrier,not sure if it is going to happen or not .

Wow, I'm sorry to hear what happened, but glad to hear you worked it out.. The same thing (well sorta) happened with my ex-wife and I about two years ago... I spent the first day or two of vacation pissed because of the amount of $$$$ that I just spent... I wish I could have gotten those two days back... Hopefully after a few drinks you will forget about it, at least until you get back..
