which bus?

I want to go by bus to playa de Carmen from Temptation. I am told to get a bus to Cancun bus station then to Playa but does anyone know which buses and how long it takes? I am told the shoppings better there, is this the case? Any ladies who have found any wicked clothes shops let me know as it's got to be done!

the shopping is better there. as far as how to get there, I really dont know the best way...the last time I was down there I was pretty drunk when I went and actually dont know how I got there...its sad I know.

If you scroll through the first timers, start here thread there are some VERY explicit directions on how to get to Cozumel....all you do is follow those directions and stop in Playa....no need to continue on to Cozumel.

I have not noticed any clothing "bargains" in Cancun or Playa, compared to what I see right here in Chicago or online. Many, many years ago it was possible to find bargains galore.......on various items, but as Cancun & Playa got more built up and Americanized, they adjusted the prices to reflect what Americans were use to paying, rather than what locals could afford.

Perhaps a local expat could tell you where they go to find clothing when they need something.............I would venture to guess that it isn't in the hotel zone or touristy area's.....I could be wrong tho.
