resort - nightlife?

... talk about information overload! (this site truly is a wonderful thing)

I'm sure the answer is posted somewhere in this forum, but I still need to ask... what is the nightlife at the resort? Or, do you pretty much have to go to the clubs after 1:00am for drinking/dancing kind of fun?
This will just be a quick weekend getaway for us (sadly, just three nights: 9/25-28), but since it is also our first time at Temptations, we want to try to get the most out of our stay! Also, thinking about the Spa. Anyone been?
Any/all suggestions are definitely appreciated... thanks!

You can drink in the one bar till 4 or 5am but theres no music etc. We went out a few nights but also had plenty of fun at the bar till the wee early hours. Try the lingerie night, thats good fun.

hi there have they changed the bar times i thought you couldnt get an alcholic drink after 1am in the hotel , i know you could get late night snacks though xxxx

We were getting drinks at 3.40am from Paty O bar and some where getting them even later (after we went to bed) lol

We did massages at the spa a couple years ago and they were pretty good.

3 days is really short...my only advise would be to just have fun and not try to overdo it too much by trying to plan too many things as even in a 7 day trip time goes so quick that we invariably still leave without having done all that we wanted to do

In general after 11 PM (when they head to the clubs) it can get quite. Paty O's is pretty good until they close. Just really depends on the crowd and the crowd your hanging with. If you got a good group of 10 to 15 your hanging out with then any night can be fun.

Last May and October they were closing Patty-O's at 1am and after that you could got to Margaritas and get food and drinks until 5am. When were down in May they were doing everything at Patty-O's until 5am.

I liked it better when they moved things to Margarita's because if you were being loud you were not disturbing any rooms around you like you do at Patty-O's. Plus I find most of the seating at Patty-O's uncomfortable.

There basically is no night life at Temptations. Once the nightly activity is over at 9:30 or 10:00 and they leave for the clubs all that is left is PatyO,s. The same people you see hogging the seats at the sexy pool bar all day will have all the best seats at the bar at night. The sports bar is open with a pool table, and wii but is normally warm and smells of mold. The dance floor (Nice Shoes Bar) is behind the bar, this is where the nightly activites take place, but once they end this place empties out.

Very well said......We plan on spending most of our time sround the resort making friends and having a good time. Definitely looking forward to finding some of those private parties....lol

I am broadminded however my wife is very conservative and she is not willing to stay at Temptation resort.
