Default Does anyone have any experience using skoosh to book temptation resort?

Has anyone used skoosh before? Their price is very good for the week we are planning our first visit (end of feb). It almost seems too good to be true. I then did a google search on skoosh reviews and the results came back very mixed. But the same thing happens with almost any provider.
I am hoping someone on the forum can share positive experiences?

This will be our first trip in 3 years without the 4 and 2 year old so I don't want any surprises! (well no bad surprises as there sounds like tons of good surprises at temptations!). We have been reading the board for the last week and it has helped a ton.

thanks!!!

We used skoosh last spring- like you we got a great rate. A week so after we booked I emailed temptation and they confirmed the reservation. No surprises whatsoever! Have fun

We were very pleased with Skoosh. We also contacted Templations shortly after the resorvation and they confirmed. Their prices were the best we could find last April. Good Luck

Im glad someone asked that question, Cuz I have been looking at skoosh also, its much cheaper then using my premier membership, as being the budget is tight this year, I was thinking of using skoosh , I emailed them and the lady that got back to me was great and answered every question and concern, but I hadnt talked to anyone that used them yet... glad to know they are ok , if i choose to go that route...

Default thanks

Thanks for the info everyone. We are going to book with skoosh. Seems like it saves us about $200 to $300 on a 6 night stay compared to pretty much every other option I can find. Except the special rate if you do the timeshare presentation and there are just too many awful experiences I am hearing to make any discount worth it.

We will be visiting for our first time Feb. 24 thru March 2nd. Sure it will be a great time.

I hadn't heard of skoosh before - I checked quick; is it hotels only, not travel packages?

From what Ive seen and heard from the agent, its just hotels and resorts etc...they have great deals all over the world, so I assume they must buy in bulk or at overseas exchange rates and pass them on... by far the cheapest ive found so and they are quick to reply to any inquiry you may have...

We booked through Skoosh for our up coming trip to TTR. The best price I could get by far. At least $200-$300 cheaper (total) than any other website. Then I found flights on another website for an incredible price. So we added another day to our trip. YEEPEEE

We booked Skoosh in Nov 2009, and had a little trouble when we got there - they said the reservation was only for 1 person~! Got it sorted though, and used them again for this April lol

Just looked at Bookit and initially it looked as if it were an excellent deal, but they show the per person price, and then the final price is double. Very expensive

We booked with Skoosh two weeks ago and I got the TTR confirmation yesterday. I do not forsee any problems. (I was nervous to start with) I will report when I get back. We saved over $1000, for the two of us.

We can be a little more spendy after saving this much cash. ($1200 for the room, all-inclusive, for seven night in February)

With these prices I do not know how any travel agent or other website survives.

Did your booking say Room only and not mention all inclusive?

Ours did mention room only, but I called skoosh and I spoke with someone who said they are all-inclusive resort and nothing other than that. They did not know why it said that, but they assured me it was all-inclusive.

Thanks Bottde, I was a bit freaked by this, but did realize that they don't have room only. Don't understand why some people get a voucher with all inclusive and others not?

Okay we booked through Skoosh, and I think everything is fine. But was looking at my receipt after viewing this post. It shows us arriving on 1/30, under meals it has All Inclusive included 31 Jan - 6 Feb. Hope we don't have trouble on the 30th when we arrive in the morning. What does everyone think?

Email skoosh. They will send you a corrected version. At least that is what they did for me. Others have gone with it that way apparently and had no issue. I didn't want to risk it.

Got an email from Skoosh confirming that my booking does include the all inclusive. Know Temptation does not offer room only, but was just worried that Skoosh may try and charge more. All is good.

For those who have used Skoosh before, what are the rooms like? We like a great price (no longer available to members...grrrrrrrr, but that is another rant, lol) but a room overlooking the street or Pattie O's wouldn't quite cut it for us. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

We'll blame that comment on the booze not the age
