Im knew to the forum. My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Temptations Cancun, May 29th. Were are looking to have a good time and hangout with folks our age 30 -40 years of age, who are cool, and know the lay of the land. I have a couple of questions in that: How is the staff, are the rooms nice, food, etc. My main quesiton is that at night which part of the resort at night has the least amount of noise. But during the day we would like to know how we can maximize our fun? Also i have heard complaints that the beds are hard is this true

Beds are hard, no doubt, but had no trouble sleeping on them (could have been the aftermath of drinking all day by the pool!!!). Quietest part would be the left side of the resort as you are facing it from the street. Away from Paty'os and Nice Shoes. But, the resort itself doesn't have a lot of night life on site, so doesn't stay loud late. Apparently some of the forum folks are screamers, though, and like to have sex on the balconies which could cause some late night commotion. Could be good or bad, depending on your outlook!! Food all in all is good. Seafood, Italian and Tex-Mex all have a lot to offer. Reservations required for Italian and Oriental, which we didn't try. Buffet is OK. The Tex-Mex during the day is really good for lunch and breakfast. Our room was really nice. Make sure and tip the housekeeper for best service. Some people have talked about the rooms having an odor but ours was fine. Keep an open mind about the people there. Don't limit yourself to those in a certain age bracket or you will miss the opportunity to meet some really fun folks.

Also do u know any cool folks, such as yourself, that will be down their during the time we are (may 29th-june 5), we do want to maybe go off the resort, when theirs no night life, but we dont wanna get snatched where i have to fight my way back.LOL i am being dramatic i know?

The quiet pool is to the right side of the resort if you are facing the resort from the street. Nice shoes is nearby but, again, their is no late, late at night stuff going on even there. Every evening you are given the orpportunity to go to one of the night clubs accompanied by a group of people from the resort for $45- $50 dollars. It includes cover, drinks, and transportation to, but not back from the club. I would say, leave with another couple and share a cab if you are wary.
When we were there, we met a ton of nice people. Just be yourself and don't be afraid to open up. everyone's there to have a good time and the overall vibe is really laid back.

just to interject quick....there is always a lot of people at the main bar every night, so I wouldnt say the night life stinks there, thats when you have to be creative and make a party....all the ingredients will be there, lots of people, lots of alcohol .... so the nightlife will be what you make it

Thanx bro, all the information is very helpful. So are the dudes cool about having your lady their? They dont hound them do they, im brinng the finance, im not jealous or nothing, just dont like dudes that dont show respect. U know? Also what is the vibe out their, is the main bar cool? What are the drinks like what other night life is their?

the clubs are like any other big city night clubs, with just wild and crazy and fun, each club has its own theme or style, coco bongo's is more like a show.
as far as guys with you fiancee, 99 percent of the people you will meet with be awesome and respectful, as with any place you will have one or two bad apples out of the bunch though

Last year was our first year to go and we had a few fears of what we might be stepping into also.....but all of our worries disappeared in about half a day at the sexy pool. Everyone was awesome from day one and half way thru the trip we had made friends that we talk to every week and have all planned our return trip this year together. We met some swingers and had some drinks, shared some laughs and they never once tried to sneak us to their rooms...guess they knew we left our swing at home. There was a drunk gropper at the pool one day and his touchy feely cost him his stay in the resort. As soon as someone went to the staff he was removed from the pool and the resort. So go.....have fun and just relax because noone is gonna try anything you are not cool with. Too sum it up our experience was awesome and I hope yours is too.

Very true... it's all about making your own fun. Paty'O's is the place to be at nite and they are open pretty much until the last person leaves... we've thought we left there early a few times, but found out the next day that we "lost" a few hours...

Got your request for friendship and must admit that, for the life of me, I can't figure out what to do when one of those comes up. Another couple sent one when we first joined the blog and, same thing. They must think I am a real a..hole for not answering. Or, they figured out I truly am an a..hole from some of my entries ands decided to seek friendship elsewhere. Or, I was supposed to send nude photos of my wife and I and failed to do so....sometimes this blog is just too much pressure....Anyway, another friend is always a good thing. when the request come to you..You scroll down to the bottom with their avatar on left..It should be shaded. click the box and it will brighten..then click the box to the right to save changes...I hope this makes sense...lol...As far as nude pic of wife..You would have to PM that person for an e-mail address to send them.....Hope this helps...LOL.

If anyone has a problem sending naked pictures of wives or girlfriends, dont feel bad, it can be complicated, therefore, I offer up my services, send all nude photos to me and ill make sure they get to their proper destination in a timely fashion.....its the least i can do, it is a holiday

Jim, I believe, in the interest of professionalism, quality, and consistency, you should forward them to myself as well. I will review them with an objective and impartial eye. After, and ONLY after these controls are excersised, should the photos be forwarded to their final destination. Can you imagine what might happen if nekkid nudie photos started appearing randomly? - it would be utter chaos!

As fine, upstanding CCC members, I feel that this is our duty!! - it's all about the sacrafice!

I have been going down there for about 10 years and everything keeps getting better. yes the beds are a bit hard but i was never there to sleep, i can do that at home. The staff is great we take two dollar bills with us and if you tip them you will be taken care of, if your not sitting at the bar when you get a waiter tip him and he will take care of you ( just dont stop ) a great day trip is going to the island you can see it from the resort, dont book thru your travel person they cost more go to the guys where you get your towels. If you would like to know more just ask

Thanks so much. Since we are rookies what is this tour you are talking about? I understand theirs a walmart their, is it worth going their to get some egg crates to put on the bed? What other night life is their. My biggest thing is where is the best place to stay on the resort, so that at night when we do pass out we can get some quality shut eye? I get the tip thing, thanks. Are the peeps cool? I understand their are swingers their, which is fine, but i wan to make sure its a cool atmosphere i dont want someone groping my finance?

Any advice would be helpful, and thank you so much

Should we go get something at this Walmart? where is the best place to stay, when we finally do pass out to have some peace and quiet at night? During the day we want to action, but when we do catch a few winks we want our peace. Is it the quiet pool or the sexy pool.

I would say if you like to stay up late and sleep late or maybe have afternoon naps before going hard that night, then I would stay away from the sexy pool area. They start the PA system for music and games in the morning over there.

The rooms overlooking Patty'O's (the common courtyard bar) are going to be noisy till fairly late (music and people).

In my opinion, your best bet is over by the quiet pool (to the right as you enter the resort). There may be some noise at night from Nice Shoes if you are too close to there.

I like my sleep, too, when I get it and we didn't have any trouble sleeping over on that side.

The beds aren't that hard....not like prison ...but I digress... (just kidding).

Games? Practice chin-ups if you hope to win....lol. And maybe busting balloons on each other in various positions, without using your hands.

As far as your concerns about your fiance, I agree, people are respectful and you won't have anything to worry about.

If she is worried about women groping you have her point out "Backs" to the women and say that she understands he is very "grope-able".
