| Is there any place close by that sells Canadian cigarettes? I think Steve mention that smokes are around $2.50 a pack down there. May as well buy them there if they are available.

On a side note, I always thought it was neat, from a smokers perspective, that Player's Tobacco, has a cigarette with a blend of Canadian and American tobacco. It's called "Special Blend". Seemed like a neat testament to the friendship between our two countries. Hmmmm.. I wonder what a blend of Jack Daniels and "Newfie Screech" would taste like... (Newfie Screech - A type of rum unique to Newfoundland. Originally imported from Jamaica in barrels that were also used for molasses, giving Screech it's unique flavour.)

| Didn't see any Canadian cigs in Mexico, but should've bought some at duty free on the way down for $55 a carton. I think that might be your best bet. |

Yes smokes are cheap in Mexico - if you like strong local versions or "knock offs" of American brands | |

| Faros is the biggest brand name that you can find almost anywhere in Mexico, they are available in 5 strengths/flavors - Clasica, Morena de Fuego, Furia Tropical, Suspiro Esmerelda and Terciopelo Amarillo. Some other popular brands are Raleigh, Boots and Montana |
