I was a little worried about hurricane season as well, but my husband has a good point about the fact that The peninsula would probably be the first thing evacuated if a hurricane threatened us, so at least we'd be safe fast. As far as a tropical storm, if it's rainin' that just means you have to be a little more creative with your forms of entertainment!

Just booked our trip last night and got a great deal on the week of September 6-13. It will be our first time to Temptation, and we are SO ready! Many of our friends have been here before, on group trips, and just rave about it. We're really excited to go and meet new, FUN-LOVING people who really know how to relax and have a GREAT time!

Booked our second trip to TTR this year Sept. 15th to Sept. 21. Went in March I hope it is warmer. We went in Oct. last year & it was great. See Ya'll there. We can't wait.

OMG....11 weeks until we are in Cancun baby! Seriously having a case of "The Monday's" today and all I can think about is 11 WEEKS!!!!!

I hear ya! Our trip is the week after yours - we arrive the day after you leave. But I'm kinda grateful for the 12 week wait....I need that time to get in better shape!!!

It is really rare that a resort will evacuate you during a hurricane. Normally they have you move to an interior part of the resort and just wait it out. Even with a direct hit most resorts are operational within a day or so. It is kind of sad, but the employees are expected to take care of the visitors/resorts before their own homes.

We have been to Cancun 4 Septembers in a roll, never a problem (close however) and I still believe it is the best time to go.
