We're swingers that just got back from Temptation this weekend that didn't hook up the week we were there. We didn't feel a strong swinger vibe and you'd have to work hard to find and hook up with another couple there. We actually preferred being with ourselves All in all, still the best time we ever had!

We have actually been to a lifestyle resort before, and I can honestly say that it didn't scream at me. There just seemed to be a bit of pressure there. I agree with Jamie’s post... but it’s really what you make it. I also agree that there is a lot more “swayers” and heavy flirting than anything else. The most visual you will see is girls kissing girls, saw a lot of that which makes the scenery that much better!



Orange wristbands may help a little, other than them being an across the pool identifier… they break the ice to so if you want to sway, swing or just hang out with a great bunch of people it may be the way to go.


Here in the forums you’ll meet a lot of great people so in a way this is a great pre- icebreaker!

we use the Orange wristbands last march when we went to TTR... they are a great way to break the ice.... we had ours with cancuncare.com XXX printed on them.... it was a great way to let ppl know that we do swing.... it was all good.... al in al its just a great resort... we always go with no expectations and that way you will never be disappointed lol.... after 17 years in this lifestyle you learn to just be happy with what ever happen.... fun with others or fun with your partner its all good.....

A quick follow up... We were first timers this past May and I have to say that I never met a better bunch of strangers from all over the world! From day 1 it was great, relaxing and for a guy who loves the water (ocean) out of the whole time we were there I didn’t even go back to the beach that was 20 feet away! Orange wrist bands – I read here on the forums just about every thought on what orange wristbands meant to people. It’s a mix of “You are a Cancuncare forum member” to “You’re a swinger”. It then was added a series of X – XX – XXX / flirt – sway – swing maybe we should call it - Schwing-Shway the ancient art of the orange bracelet (said kind of like Fung Shway).


When we were there, people (non CC members) also thought that Cancuncare was a forum of swingers. Like TTR itself, I think it’s a good mix of swingers, swayers, voyeurs and just regular people wanting to all have a great time! Something for everybody in other words.Fun is what you make it and when you have this many people all wanting to have fun... it makes it even better.


Now another note... WE didn't have any wristbands nor could we find them, we looked but no luck - High commodity item at the time. So if you see them... get them!

hi xx yes its a place for all sorts of adult fun, its just identifying people is the problem. There is so many different things people are looking for. But like you say its actually getting people to say what they are into. Here in UK people seem to be far more open and up front about it than others! (please dont take offence, we have many friends from USA and canada and even they agree) There are many different types of swinging, and in the environment TTR provides, you can safely be open about it..... just remember 'nobody knows you and nobody gives a s**t' xx hope to see you there. 7th - 21st nov xx come and say hi xx
