We're thinking of going May 8 through the 14th. Every travel site I've checked (like Orbitz, Expedia, etc.) says there are no rooms available during Desire week. Two questions; anyone else going when we are and is booking through the resort the only option for Desire week?

Since the privious week have been so popular they save the rooms till later down the year. We are Premier members and dont have rates for us yet.

Regular travel agents that do a lot of regular booking for Desire Cancun have access right now for rooms at Temptations Cabo for all the upcoming Desire Weeks in 2011 at that location

If you enjoy the Desire concept go the earlier May 3rd week. The Desire experience blows away Temptations.

We've done both and there is no comparison between the two resorts/themes.

we would love to go this week but its my dad bday so we are goint to book for Sep they already have 50% full for September

We have been to Desire Cancun (Puerto morelos) 8 times. We are going to Cabo's Desire week in Sept and 75% sure we will be able to book May as well. Desire weeks are much more "adventurous" than temptation.....you can do as much or as little as you like...NO pressure, just good times.

We will be there the 3rd-7th(cabo). Been to both several times(cancun & cabo) and prefer cabo due to the proximity to sacramento and the updated facilities. We have found the activities very similar depending on one's wishes or desires. Our alacrity to return says it all. Hope to see a good crowd this coming may as well as old friends.

I think I read something about a "play room" being opened during Desire's Week? We get in early afternoon on the 8th (last day) so at least we'll get to see an afternoon-evening of what happens during a Desire week takeover. What else can we expect? We've been Temptations in Cancun twice and are excited to check out Cabo.

Everything is contingent on the crowd, but you should be able to expect some wild and crazy people having a great last evening at Desire! Play room should be open at the disco, but many just head to quieter places (jacuzzi beds, rooms, etc.) for fun...Fire up the jacuzzi torches, pour some tequila and it can be a magical experience whether shared with just your spouse or others.

Food is better, drinks are better. The vibe is incredible...and no tan lines.

We aren't able to go because of a family illness. VERY bummed that we have to postpone and can't meet all of you.

Have you done any research into fishing yet? We are going in Sept. and wondered if you had any hook ups for fishing?? ...... pun intended.....lol. We have heard that Cabo is world famous for its fishing. Our friends said that's one thing we need to do while we are down there.

Hello everyone! Looking forward to the May 3rd - 8th "Desire" week. This will be our second visit to Cabo. Our first time was shortly before the transition from Desire to Temptation. At that time, the resort next door was under construction. It was quite entertaining to watch construction workers essentially stop their progress to watch the distractions that all of us at Desire were giving them.

Hoping to renew old friendships and make new ones.

Since Temptation resort is in San Jose, I would suggest Gordo Banks Pangas for fishing.......I have fished with Eric (owner) for the last 10 years (2-3 times a year). His rates are very competetive and his captains put you on the fish. Gordo Banks Pangas They are located in the new san jose marina (about 10 minutes away)
