| When we were there in July 2010, the staff was pretty lame. From what we were told there was a great staff, trained by Chino, who have all left to work the resort next door. This staff was friendly yet dull. No one compares to Chino, however this group didn't even come close.

| Unfortunately I cant remember any of there names but we were there in Jan 2011 and had a blast. There games are toned down compared to cancun but I think they did a great job keeping everyone in good spirits and entertained. |

| joe i think most of the people in this forum (not all) have been spoiled rotten by the incredible talent in cancun. its hard for anyone to live up to a legend - let alone legends.......... with that said, i have read in numerous other places (obviously people whom have never been to blue bay getaway/temptation) where people have praised the resort and give it high marks over and over and the entertainment staff high marks as well.........very high we are certainly going with lowered expectations as we have been to cancun probably ten times or more and we know up front that we are not going to get that level of entertainment staff. with all we have going on getting ready for the big reunion in new orleans in the fall - we are going to need a vacation at that time -whew - not a full 10 days of non stop partying - thats another reason we picked cabo this year instead of cancun.................we wanted to party and have some fun - just wanted some vacation time as well - in cancun you dont get vacation with that staff and all the wild people we hang with ------------ sleep is not an option let us know what you think when you get back - i also think bart and annette will be back very soon and look forward to their report on this very sad you guys are not going to be there when we are ![]() rob

| Cesar - the one doing most of the microphone work. Tony, Brian, Crystal, and Angie are the others. I enjoy the group, most of them have been there since the middle of last year. |

| We may need someone going to TTR this spring to bring him up to speed. BUT..... They may not have holding cells big enough for the group if he gets us all in a frenzy!!!

funny you mention that great story - lol had a buddy of mine (beau derek) get his dumb ass locked up down there one night - said it was no fun at all we had been out drinking all night and he went down a street and started urinating in the middle of the street. a police officer came up to him and told him very nicely that he was not able to do that and so beau derek got mad at him and tried to piss on his horse needless to say it got pretty ugly new orleans police (at least those in the quarter are used to big parties and fun - just dont f with them too much like beau did and you will fine lol) the very best rob "pray to god for me babe, that he can let me slide" ...........from the song bright baby blues - jackson browne

Cesar is the lead, however Brian or Tony are very involved also. Crystal and Angie lead a lot of the games, but are not on the mic as much. They are both attractive, although they seemed very overdressed for being around the pool or on the beach. They repeat everything in English and Spanish which was pretty confusing considering that Cesar and Tony are hard for me to understand and it stretches out the games. I did not see many Spanish speaking guests, and it seemed like a waste. Brian has no accent and is the best on the mic, and has a pretty sharp tongue. Something is missing in a large portion of their activities. Either they are not planned out well, or they are making up different rules as they go. An example was horseshoes earlier this week. 20 people trying to play, had to wait for the pins to be driven into the ground (also fell out of the ground the first time they were hit with a shoe), started off with the games going to 10, changed the winning score down to 5, and then down to 2. We got eliminated by one ringer which put us down 3-1. There were a bunch of guests signed up for almost every event and I don't think they were very well prepared. Definitely some lame events like Bingo and some sort of trivia every day.

| Rob, Ironically we both decided that Cabo was the desitnationthis year. However, by the time we saw your dates, we were already booked for next week. I have a conference the week of your dates that I can't miss so we wouldn't have been able to come down anyway. Not much consolation but... We will certainly give you the full report. Expectations are lowered with the staff, but I bet we still ahve fun, we always do. We're heading down with 6 awesome people who are ready to have some fun. Stay tuned for the TR! JJ Quote:
