Desire Week - Black Light Night

Leading up to the Desire week, we will be posting a few details about the activities and events that will take place. Some details will be new, so it will give the guests that want to participate a chance to plan ahead with their packing. Other information will just be a hint of what is planned.

The first announcement is that there is going to be a Black Light Night in the disco Wednesday night. So after all the Kings and Queens activities, change into those clothes and accessories that glow in the black light and join the fun in the disco. Mrs. Whitey will be glowing from head to toe.

So, check the bulletin board once in a while for some new postings.

Why doesn't the resort give us all of the information now. We have already bought our outfits - I do not want to do themes in one night. They should have replaced mime night (lame) with the black light night. We have less than a month before our trip and we hate planning last minute. If they know what they are going to do, tell us. If they have given you the information, can you please pass it along now? I know some of us leave at the end of this month and we need to finalize our trip plans. Sounds kind of like they are doing things last minute...ugh!

As the Desire week approaches, the resort is putting the final approval for the activities for the week. The resort has been working on the ideas for the Desire week for some time, and are now putting the final pieces together. Nothing will change for the theme nights that have been posted on their website, they just decided to add the Black Light Night for the disco. The remainder of the details that will be posted here will just highlight some of the fun that will be waiting, nothing that is going to make anyone rush for last minute changes.

Still, I don't understand why you feel a need to "release" this information a little bit at a time and not just give us all the information now? Is this some way to keep us coming back to check, or is it just that they (you) aren't still sure what is planned? We leave in 19 days and would like as much info up front as possible.

It's getting late in the game.

We're pretty low key and laid back, but we hope that most things (theme nights etc.) are left pretty much as they normally are for a typical Desire week.
Seeing lots of different stuff posted here for the week; sometimes less is more. Why mess with a great thing?
Mime night? Yikes.
Forget the 'afternoon by the pool' live band. Put them in the melange bar or in the disco and nix the same ole looped video.

We agree with sexy So Cal cpl. Why the need to "release" info bits at a time? They should just post it for people to see. It's not like it is a secret or anything. We agree mime night is lame, that's why members of the yahoo May desire group has decided to make it just black & white night like they have done at Desire over the years. As far as sexy circus night (really, clowns are sexy???), we have decided to make it glow in the dark night with glow in the dark body & clothes paint. We came up with this idea way before they decided to release the black light night (in combination with king & queen night???) just recently. If there are any more activities, please list them now as we have people leaving this weekend for their trip.

This was a flop unfortunately. This could have been a fun theme, a hell of a lot sexier than King & Queen. No one knew about it. It wasn't on the resort's website. The only ones in glow in the dark were the Whitey's and the had their own little dance...kind of excluding others...oh well, just our 2 cents.
