I just wonder how many April Addicts and NEW friends would be interested in checking out ttr Cabo in October or November.

Brewster and I are defiantly thinking about it. I am just curious to know if there are any others..

Hey Kim, Ben and I talked about it and are definitely interested. He is planning a hunting trip to Montana in the fall sometime, so once he figures that out then we can look into it more. We will keep you posted. Think about all the fun we would have in the roof top hot tub. I hope it all works out and we can make it.

we were at ttr Cancun last September.. and the reason we are gonna try Oct. or Nov. is... less time to wait for April.. haha!! we really want to check out Cabo though.. Rob and his friends convinced me to at least try it .. I am hoping I can get a few others to try it then as well ...

just got a little shendig this fall that i committed to many many years ago for someone special................and after i have honored that commitment............then t and i will be spending 3 weeks per year in los cabos until we retire there

im sure we will get to meet you guys there one day its beautiful there and we miss it already - hurry up april

Rob, right now I am talking about 2011 but I am sure if all goes well it will be October or November in Cabo and April in Cancun..from now on... but if we like cabo as much as i think we will .. I might have to drag a few of the April Addicts to cabo in April.. lol

October 27th - November 1st is "Desire Week" at TTR Cabo, which means it is the 5 days that the resort bumps up the amount of staff they have on hand and also bumps up the "party" atmosphere! Oh, and did I mention it's clothing-optional versus just topless that week, yeah! It is FANTASTIC in Cabo and my hubbs and I have been putting plans into action to retire there as well, but for now, we are looking at booking for Desire Week!

Hey Partydollgirl!

Sadly, Jeff and I still have some time before we say "Damn the Man!" and retire, but we are starting to put away for that day and looking to hopefully find a low-maintenance place we can purchase and enjoy the beauty of Cabo! We've also tossed around the idea of investing in a time-share at TTR Cabo to always be able to pop in there when we can. Personally I wish we could go more than 1 time per year, but I am grateful for that!

We are considering it, with the cost to go to new orleans as to Cabo... cabo being the winner. Jeff and I discussed it last night and we are swaying to the trip to Cabo.
Just did another check 4 days in New Orleans 3810.00 + cost of food and drinks
7 days in Cabo Oct. 2630 from Calgary
7 days in Cabo Nov. 2810 from Edmonton

You are checking the wrong departure point, Canadian Taxes kill us at the airports. Check your departure from Grand Falls Montana. I checked yesterday form Calgary and then from Grand Falls, a difference of over $600.00 Canadian.

Great Falls Montana total $955.56
Calgary Alberta total $1557.78

Difference $602.22

Those prices are from Itravel2000.com, they are from Friday Oct 21 to New Orleans, returning Monday Oct 24th, that price is for two people, Canadian dollars, taxes included, three nights at the rate Rob has found adds $525.00, total cost before food and drinks is about 1470.00 for two people.

haha!! an April Addict is a big group that goes to TTR Cancun every April and we all pretty much met either at the resort or on Cancuncare..
I think there were about 100 of us this time .. and it keeps growing every year...

I was hoping to entise a few of the April addicts from Cancun into trying ttr Cabo in Oct or Nov... are your dates book yet?

thanks for the info and will do more checking however its still approx a 10 hr drive for us to and from and it would only be 4 days as compared to 7.. but will do more checking for sure

i mean i know i told taylor and chris that we would take them to new york city this fall (after new orleans) but im thinking i got to find a way to work that one out now

.....maybe i have my mom come down t new orleans and hang out with chris and taylor while we party it up in the quarter and then i can tell them that there trip to new orleans was their vacation this year

november - punt the damn new york city osama haters convention and instead take an extended weekend trip to temptation los cabo
december - buy kids lots of presents to make up for f&^%#$# them over in november
january through march - hibernate as the winters here in texas are f'n cold, miserable and just down right depressing
april - temptation los cabos again with the all the pretty ladies (as bob would say)

Funny Glenn and I go out until 3-4 am every weekend. The kids sit at home and babysit each othere I guess.

Well Jeff and I are sitting in front of our computer trying to finalize our plans. We'd really like to go to TTR Cabo during the Desire Week, which is Oct. 27th - Nov. 1st because we thought spending Halloween in Cabo would be fun and we LOVED when the resort was "Desire" because it was definitely a party! BUT...we'd also like to book during a week where there will be a GREAT CROWD ready to have the times of their lives! Desire week is GREAT but the people you get to meet and hang out with really do make your trip even better!
SO....with all that being said, I'd really love to hear the dates everyone is looking at in Oct/Nov because we tried to book with the "April Addicts" group last year and the dates didn't work for us. We can't wait until April to go....so please let us know so hopefully we can book during the same week!

We will be heading to Cabo in the third week of October,although we need to check work schedules and find someone to watch the kids,and as someone mentioned earlier we will be driving to the states and leaving from The USA crazy how much more affordable that makes it!

After reading a bunch of trip reports about the Desire Weeks from the past, I think we have settled on booking our trip for the October Desire Week! YAY! Just put in my time-off request for vacation time that week and once that's approved...We are booking this bad boy!

Just returned from TTR Cancun 2 days ago and have been thinking about trying Cabo the first week of November along with another couple for our 25th anniversary. =)
