Finding private 'Desire' experiences during non-Desire weeks?

Hey all.

For those of you who are into those kinds of things, what's everyone's feeling or experiences on the opportunities for Desire-style experiences behind closed doors during standard Temptation weeks?

We were there a year-and-a-half ago during a very lightly attended week and were with some good friends who are not privvy to our other activities, so we really didn't get a sense of what might have been happening behind-the-scenes.

We believe that as long as it is legal that what happens in a room with door closed is between the people in the room and not anyone else bussiness. I am sure that a lot happens in other resorts but since it is a "normal resort" no one thinks anything about two couples going into a room for a while. Too bad that you felt that you had to be with your good friends so much, I am sure that you missed out on some fun because you spent so much time with friends and others felt that they should not cut in on you.

I think you misunderstood. We weren't prevented from doing anything last trip. We just weren't looking so we didn't really get a sense of what's possible.

We were more asking for those of you who have more experience at Temptaion Cabo: during non-Desire weeks, are there still a significant number of lifestyle-open couples there?

From the reviews I've read on Trip Advisor, yes, there are 'lifestyle-open' opportunities all year round at Temptations Cabo.

We were curious about the same thing. While we are not "in the lifestyle", we would probably enjoy some lifestyle activities while we're miles away from home.

I guess the question we would have is how to determine whether or not someone is in to that sort of thing? We'd hate to miss an opportunity because we didn't get some sort of signal or clue. And it would be embarrassingly presumptuous for us to assume that someone was when in reality they weren't.

Any tips? We'll be there for New Year's!

While we were at TTR Cabo in Oct so many couples said that they weren't in the lifestyle, but that was shown that they they played when they met the right couple.
A good way is to just talk to the people about different topics and if they are interested they will let you know in some way. Maybe by rubbing up against you, leaning up against you. In other words the same way it worked when you were single. We have found out that the females have better luck getting the real story about people.

Never heard about the xxx bracelet, an ankle bracelet on the ladies used to be an indicator but everyone seems to have one now.

There was a hugely popular thread posted about the orange XXX bracelets last Feb. at the TTR Cancun forum; we expected to see them on everyone when we attended. We might have seen one.

Better off just striking up a conversation if the vibe, etc., is there and see where things go.

TTR at either location can be a blast, but if there are real 'swinger' expectations there will likely be disappointment.

A few years back a couple at Hedo was promoting their bracelet product. Using a combination of colors you could indicate your 'kink' -- black and blue == necrophilia in public, yellow and green == soft, g/g etc. The problem: it needed a three page cheat sheet to figure all the combos. Someone else wanted colored drinking straws -- but that did not work with beer!

That left everyone to actually engage in conversations with others. Now that really worked 100%.

As we said, talking to someone is the best way to get to know them. if they are not into playing then at lest you meet some nice people, Well at least at TTR. As far as the bracelet goes some people that aren't into playig might like the look of them and start wearning them not know what the bracelet supposley means, and get upset when the talking turns to sexual matters.

The orange bracelets are supposed to mean you are a member from Cancuncare.. someone suggested a while ago to take a black marker and put X's on it which means you are a cancuncare member that is into the lifestyle..not sure if many do it in cabo though... I didnt see any orange bracelets when we were at ttr cabo.. its becoming very popular at ttr cancun.
