We've had our 1st April 2012 booking!!!

Our mates from the UK, Dave and Sue (suedave) booked this AM for 2 weeks arriving the 15th!!

Hey Guy's, like Woody said we booked yesterday, looked at prices and a real good deal came up to good to miss, so we hope to be seeing all our old friends down there next April and also meeting new ones. x

A blonde orders a beer.

The bartender fills the mug and slides it down the bar. It hits the blonde
woman's boobs and splashes all over them... The bartender goes over, retrieves
the mug and licks the beer off her boobs.

Each time the blond calls for another beer this happens. So after the third
beer, a guy decides to help the bartender out. The next time the bartender hit
her boobs, the man jumps up and starts to lick her breasts and she decks him!

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his role as our President.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Obama is a 'Post Turtle''.

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was.

The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain.

"You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he's elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with."

This year, because it's still early, I'm just going to compile a list and take emails w/ the info.
After we get a bunch to book I, (along w/ I hope Bruce) will get an excel file made up for all!

Subject: Why our gov't is in trouble

Barack Obama met with the Queen of England.
He asked her, "Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give to me?"
"Well," said the Queen, "the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people."

Obama frowned, and then asked, "But how do I know the people around are really intelligent?"

The Queen took a sip of tea. "Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle."

The Queen pushed a button on her intercom. "Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?"

Tony Blair walked into the room and said, "Yes, Your Majesty?"

The Queen smiled and said, "Answer me this please, Tony , your mother and father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?"

 Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answered, "That would be me."
"Yes! Very good," said the Queen.

Obama went back home to ask Joe Biden , his vice presidential choice the same question. " Joe , answer this for me.

Your mother and your father have a child. It's not your brother and it's not your sister. Who is it?"
"I'm not sure," said Biden . "Let me get back to you on that one"

He went to his advisors and asked everyone, but none could give him an answer.

Finally, he ran into Sarah Palin out eating one night. Biden asked, " Sarah , can you answer this for me?
Your mother and father have a child and it's not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Sarah Palin answered right back, "That's easy, it's me!"

Biden smiled, and said, "Thanks!" Then, he went back to speak with Obama.
"Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It's Sarah Palin!"

Obama got up, stomped over to Biden , and angrily yelled into his face,

"No! You idiot! It's Tony Blair !"

AND THAT IS PRECISELY WHAT'S GOING ON WITH OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN WASHINGTON , D.C

The Pope and Obama are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd.

The Pope leans towards Mr. Obama and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!"

Obama replied, "I seriously doubt that ~ with one little wave of your hand? Show me!"
So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage!

We really need to talk, want to know how you guys book your trips. Been checking and the price is crazy right now. I'm sure if we wait till last min it will come down, Glenn has mentioned West Jet and booking your room. Really need to know how and when is the best time.
Really can't wait to see everyone again.

Seeing that the American $$ is crap now, I booked thru Expedia this time - $3100 w/ trip ins, x-fers, and all for 12 days for 2. Slightly cheaper than 4 years ago.

checking lately and they are looking at 4500+ for 14 days.
Not worried though will be there come hell or high water, wouldn't miss this for nothing.

When we went last Halloween, we met Doc and Tina & Doug and Val. They joined us last april and will do so again next april. Trying to get Doug and Val to come back this october... we'll see......

We will start looking for prices for next April after October as well. I am just excited for tomorrow night with WoodynSue, DougnVal, and KenNJoyce!! Can't wait!! We will have our own mini TTR. Can't wait to see everyone that is coming to TTR in October then and for those waiting til April can't wait to see you all!!

We usually don't book April or May until at least after christmas. I think last year was about three months before and we had a great price. Glenn usually does all the booking. He loves it and is nortorious for getting the best price. Glenn surfs the net until he finds what he wants. Don't worry it won't sell out. There is lot's of time.

Deb, Glenn said if you can give him your dates and the flexibility with those dates then he will search it out. Sometimes a day or two before or after can make a huge difference.

We are thinking the same time as Woodman, around April 11 we figure 2 weeks, but I know that Glenn can come up with the 10 days. Are you guys going around the same time.. I thought your were? I've been looking at Red tag, selloffvacation, exitnow, temptation, Airtransat, westjet I've been looking everywhere
