| we've only been to temptations in cancun, but from what i hear, the two are more or less alike. but since you haven't gotten any responses yet, we'll step in with the cancun experience: pro: you can pack less stuff, especially bikinis. pro: the staff pro: "nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit" pro: if you haven't got an open mind, you probably will when you leave pro: channel 12 pro: the scenery con: you'll have to learn a new language. for example, 'nice shoes' doesn't necessarily mean nice shoes. con: you'll probably wish you'd gone a lot sooner than now

it's really fun when you say it to a 'regular' tourist out on the beach. think of it as code words... if you say it to a guy and his wife/girlfriend/accomplice says, 'thank you!', then you know you're talking with friends. if they look at you weird because they're not wearing any shoes, then you're on your own.
