The Desire weeks are different from the normal Temptation weeks. The food is better, the type of alcohol is better, etc. Remeber too, that food comments are very subjective. We have been to resort 4 times this year, 3 as Temptations and 1 for the May Desire week and we have no complaints about the food at any time. Everyone has their own expectations for a Desire week but we have no concerns about getting the true "Desire" experience, we are looking forward to a great time.

Oct. will be our seventh Cabo Desire trip with one Temptations excursion in the mix.
The Desire experience is always top shelf!
For the $ it can't be beat.

We just got back two days ago. The food ok. Although breakfast was awful. They have no bacon. How can they not have bacon? Lunch gets a little boring. But, who goes for the food?

The food is just fine, the people you'll meet are great and the staff is wonderful. Don't sweat a thing. As for the reviews: This is bad for the resort, of course, but good for "us". It keeps the spectators away...Let them go to some AI that allows kids...

JUst remember that 9 out of ten people will take the time to wright a bad review or complain but only one in ten will take the time to write a complimentary review.. A lot of the bad reviews about ttr are from prudes.
They just didn't do there home work , and get a bit of a shock,,lol

They do have bacon but you have to ask the omlette lady for it. Crazy? Yes. Lol...But we had it every day.

Hard to imagine an awful breakfast. (?)
It's pretty hard to screw up a fresh omlette or fresh fruit. TTR or Desire, breakfast is great.

Two bucks to the grill gal at the beginning of one's stay goes a long way to crispy bacon very morning...

Love this one,,,,,,,
makes me want to go more often....

''Where do I start! Great rooms, friendly staff, decent food, loved the beds by the pool. On the other hand I went knowing this was a swingers resort and even though that's not for me I was ok with that.(besides who am I to judge) the part that got me was if your a swinger fine, wanna be topless fine, wanna show your effection with your partner that's fine too. But when you sit in front of a crowd with your boyfriends hand up your dress fondling you then maybe you should go to your room, I'm there to watch the night time show put on by the resort not by you thanks. It felt like some of the older crowd was in competition with each other everyday of who could be the slutiest ,wear the least amount of clothes, and how many people they could get in their little group. . This resort is very noisy ,right from the music blasted early in the morning, to people screaming and partying all night. If I rated this place on staff they would get a 10, rooms an 8 food a 7 , but because of the rest of the things I mentioned I will not be returning. ''

You just described every thing good about TTR

Just read a really good review from Trip Advisor today and thought I would share. Now mind you, this is from someone who recently visited while it is still Temptations (and they note that in their review). But over all it really gave a good overview of the environment, food, etc... Check it out:

“Positive experience from first-timers all around”

We are a 40-year old married couple from Canada who had never been to Mexico and have never been to an "Adult-Themed" resort. This was by far the best vacation we have had and we are both very sad that Temptations Los Cabos will be no more. Here is some random information for those thinking of going:

- we were a little scared of going to Mexico but the resort and surrounding towns felt extremely safe and the locals are much more friendly than the locals we have in our own Canadian home town. We walked the streets at night without worry and without any fear of safety. The older part of town would shut down its traffic each Thursday so that visitors could walk around the city center to experience the many shops, galleries and restaurants there.

- the ambiance of this resort is incredible. The grounds, the rooms, the pools, etc all are well maintained and very clean. The restaurants are modern, clean and spacious. We truly felt like we were on a romantic getaway vs just a tropical vacation

- the staff is amazing - I can't say enough good things about all employees there. You meet a bartender for the first time and he treats you like his best friend from high school. They are funny, they are welcoming and they really seem to care about your happiness.

- we woke up around 11AM most days and stayed up past 3AM most nights. However when we needed some R&R we could easily sleep in the afternoon on one of the beds or lounge chairs at the beach. If you are looking for a club-like party atmosphere for 30 to 60 year old's - this is it. The music is upbeat and modern, prepare to dance or socialize the night away

- the other guests came from all walks of life and have a large range of ages. It is so easy to meet people and not worry about ulterior motives. Everyone here just wants to have a good time with no hangups or pressures. During the first part of our week we hung out with a group of late twenty/early thirty somethings. During the latter half we were partying with late 40 and 50 somethings. We made many new friends while on the resort. 80% of the visitors there are from Canada.

- we are not swingers and never once felt out of place. We saw a lot of topless people but that is as far as it went. There is no full nudity nor are you going to see any sexual activity, its all kept to the confirms of your own room. We did hear of one couple who were getting too amorous at the pool and they were asked by security to stop. Except for the topless women, we saw nothing different than what we would see in a typical night-club.

- the food is well-above average for an all inclusive resort. Breakfast for us was a combination of fruits, yogurt, cereal and then perhaps a trip to the omlette bar where you could pick your toppings and have your eggs cooked on the grill in front of you. The bacon was excellent as well! Coffee was delicious with the choice of take-out cups if you just wanted to grab a cup to go back to the room. Lunch was a grill that made cheeseburgers, fish, chicken or pork combined with a plentiful and varied salad bar. They also had many hot dishes (potatoes, tortillas, chicken wings, pizza, etc) and a yummy little dessert plates. Dinner could be had at any one of the three restaurants. One had a Italian theme, another was Japanese with two different menus (sit down vs. Hibachi) and the main restaurant would have a different theme each night. The amount, variety and more importantly the quality of the food was top notch and we never felt that selection or quality was ever lacking.

- finally I will leave with this. We read a lot of the reviews (especially the negative ones) and its clear that some individuals did not have a good experience for one reason or other. For example when we were checking out we heard a new guest on the phone arguing with a travel agent about being booked on "this type" of a resort. If you are an incredibly conservative or religious person who would never go to a dance club in a large city, or go to a casino or a R-rated movie then perhaps this is not the right place for you. We saw and experienced a lot of adult-themed fun and silliness, saw a lot of topless people and people dressed in short skirts and some even in lingerie type clothes but never once did we feel apprehensive or uneasy. I would not call this a swingers resort at all. There is no full nudity, there is no public displays of sex, there are no aggressive couples looking to hook up. There is just a lot of fun, easy-going, mature adults who like to be sexy without being overtly sexual. Likewise if you are looking for public displays of affection or a back room full of naked people, you will not find that in the current version of Temptations. We actually met a swinger couple who were disappointed at how tame the resort was

We will definitely go back to Temptations though it looks like we will need to go to another location. Desire, Hedonism and other "swinger-themed" resorts are too much for us; Temptation was perfect for those who just wanted to feel sexy and romantic on their vacation.

i know there is a ton of debate over these terms "sexy" and "sexual"

but we agree with this reviewer - and if i recall correctly i have mentioned the same in other posts....quiet honestly it is one of the main reasons we love this resort more than other mexican resorts.

.....for us "sexy" is an attitude....not a drunken orgy

the best
