The orange wristband system does work well, although some weeks it's not very well supported.

For those new to the site - wearing an orange wristband (livestrong rubber type is usual) denotes that you're a member of this forum making it easy to spot others. It provides a great icebreaker to start a conversation. You can buy them off ebay for a dollar or so. Sometimes one couple buy 50 or so and give them out once at the resort.

Some people write an xxx on their bracelet, you can take a guess what that means

We are in the process of ordering a lot of bracelets to be given away on future boobs cruises to help promote the orange bracelet revolution!

I'm so glad those Orange bands were brought up. I read about those on old posts. Didn't know if people were using those. Seems like a great system. Anyone in mid November using those.

Why cant you come on the boobs cruise? It's open to all

Seriously though, we will give Jamie a freebie next time we see you. I am sure she would wear it well. Can't believe the last time we visited TTR was when you kindly lent us your timeshare room.

New babies have a strange way of limiting your options.

Wanted to this trip. But it looks like the dates dont match up in october. Maybe May?? We have more flexability on dates now as our timeshare expired.
Thanks for the offer.

Steve,

Can we buy the shirts that you were giving away on our last trip?

Last Christmas one of the members on here made t-shirts for cancuncare members who were at Temptations that were to put on the back of our pool chairs, it was awesome!!

They worked great. The person's name was Frank from Irracana' Alberta.
he had blue and pink one done up with the Cancun Care logo.
I would get up at 6^ am and place a bunch of them on adjoining chairs so the group cound sit together.I used them again in April, they work great

I wore one the 9 days before labor day we were there. And met a ton of new friends. We were in a group of about 30. And it grew to 40 plus fast. Thanks to Steve....

Stolen from another thread, sound correct?

RE: MARKING YOUR ORANGE WRISTAND

x - means you're flirty but mostly hands off (you'd probably play quest or taquila volleyball)

xx - means you're a swayer and might not be adverse to bodyshots or dirty dancing in the club.

xxx - means you're into swinging and are open to a conversation about what everyone is into.

Just ordered 1100 orange wristbands with cancuncare.com debossed. These will be given away to anyone who wants them on forthcoming boobs cruises and should last us a year or so.

They are going to take approx two weeks to get here though, so I'm not sure which cruise this will start up for.

They don't have any x's marked on them! People can mark them themselves if they like, but the main thing is the plain wristband signifies nothing more than you are a member of the forum.

If anyone wants to order themselves then here is the site we used:

http://24hourwristbands.com/order-cu...ed-wristbands/

Orange Colour, Half Inch, Cancuncare.com in Comic Sans Font debossed one side only. 50 Wristbands will cost around $40 including shipping to the US.

Afraid not. The main problem is distribution from Mexico - regular post is so unreliable. 50% of the time it wont even arrive and if it does it takes months. DHL or Fed Ex is too expensive for a low value T shirt at $25 shipping per package.

There are various online suppliers in the USA that we could use that make to order and ship but they charge around $20 for each shirt which I'm not comfortable with charging.

We thought about taking more along to the cruises to sell at a decent price say $10 each but having to take a range of sizes etc means we'll end up needing a suitcase full each cruise.

I wonder if you could let people make an order when they come out on a booze cruise Steve? add a note to their signup saying that they want a shirt, and what size etc. That way you could bring a few with you that people are already promised for?

Or you could pick a day and walk down the beach becoming a shirt vendor! lol

Good idea Keith! I will look into that. Only thing is I dont want to make the deposit payment page too complicated, but I have an idea how it could be done.

Default Orange bracelets for Cancun Members this Halloween

We will have orange bracelets for all Cancun Care members at TTR over Halloween. We arrive 10/27/11 and have 200 bracelets. Any left over when when we leave the resort on 11/1/11 we leave with a Cancun Care member to continue to pass out out. They are orange with black lettering that says Cancun Care/TTR. We don't have a pick on the roll call for a certain reason but just ask around for Doc n Nurse and someone will direct your our way guaranteed. Looking forward to our Cancun Care Halloween group.

We haven't been back in several years since the BBG days. Decided to put myself back in shape though so we can prep for a trip next year. The orange bracelet is a great idea.

FBJR1 kind of stole my idea. You need some trusted people that are in north america but not Mexico to be distribution hubs!

Yes we are doing 5 nights at TTR then 2 nights at Desire. Ken and Joyce are joining us. We need to plan better next year. Last year we only caught each other for a couple days as well and then you didn't come out and party with us the last night when we were going home. Sad face!! Don't let us down this year!! LOL!! You won't be able to because Halloween I believe will be the last night we are there. Hope you will join us if we can get enough people together for a boobz cruise. It is great. Steve does and awesome job. We get back to the resort by roughly 5 pm so you don't miss any of the evening activities either. We will for sure miss Bob and Teresa very much. She though they may try March of next year to coordinate with her school schedule. I will be bringing my computer with me. LOL. Can't wait to see you and everyone else and meeting new people. Will have our bracelets to pass out!!

Yeah, have thought about it many times.

I really wouldn't want to lumber anyone from here with the job of taking orders and stuffing envelopes though. Really appreciate the offer Frank but it could easily become time consuming and I wouldn't want it to become a chore and I think it might, for not much return.

I need to outsource it to someone based in the US for sure, but not to folks that have busy lives and full time jobs.

Just got an email to say the 1100 orange bracelets I ordered have been shipped.

Not sure when they'll actually arrive but we'll be giving them out for free on the booze cruises when they do.

I'm hoping that as people leave they pass them on to other forum members to keep the Orange Revolution going.

Orange is orange - its kind of hard to see the X or XX or XXX since its the same color, real sunny and after a few drinks maybe a little blurry
