We want Chinnos!

Just seen a pic of Chinos on the Boobs Cruise. I can't imagine what it is going to be like going back to TTR and him not being there! What has the entertainment been like since he's gone? Any repeaters?

1 word-AWFUL Just got back last night and we don't participate in the activities but love sitting back and having a laugh and I am sorry to say the entertainment staff was boring.

I went in early October and noticed a big difference with both Chinos and Stacey gone. Less rowdiness in the pool games, less tequila flowing in the trivia contests, harder time getting people to compete in the pool games.

Sarah was doing her best, but Chinos has a charisma that draws people and makes them want to be a part of things--and that's hard to match.

I had a good time, but it wasn't much different than any other resort you can go to.

yeh, thats what were afraid of.......my husband and I both have said its the entertainment that really sets this resort apart from other resorts. It was like nothing else. Who wants the same old boring AI resort entertainment? Hope guests are taking the time to report their dissatisfacation with management. People need to speak up.

Now remind me again, why the frig Chinos is gone????? Has this git who is suing actually done the deed and issued papers???? If the knob head hasn't done it surely TTR should get Chinos back asap before there business really starts to suffer.

Chinos, I think is the difference between Temptation and any other resort!

Pool was PACKED PACKED PACKED yesterday and Miss Temp contest was cancelled for lack of participation. They couldn't manage to get one girl. Did they even try? Who knows

The pool was packed the last week too.. Oct. 19th.. (I was on the great boobs crusie though).. and they cancelled the Miss. Temptation Contest.

When our group asked if they would run the contest on Thursday the 'entertainment' staff said it was a corporate thing now and there wasn't enough participation or good looking girls.

I only just met Chinos on the boobs cruise and he was a riot... much better than the current situation at TTR.

Okay, even as a "Miss Temptation," I agree that the online contest could go. I almost wouldn't go to TTR because I didn't want to be nearly naked next to a bunch of beautiful people.

And if that really is the resort's attitude...that their guests aren't good looking enough to represent their resort...that's really offensive.

What makes (MADE?) TTR special was the fact that people didn't have to be young and hot...all are (were?) welcome and made to feel comfortable. That's why I jumped up to do Miss T. I felt comfortable, I'd made a lot of friends, and I'd developed a "Woohoo what the hell" attitude. Why not keep the weekly just for fun, and get rid of the "pageant?"

If I want to just watch beautiful people having fun without me, I'll stay home and watch TV. I hope the management gets a clue.

Can't really get into specifics, I am sure you understand. Yesterday was my first time there in awhile, and I thought Brenda brought her A game. I know her personally, and liked seeing her doing what she loves.

As long as they give the entertainment staff the freedom to be themselves they will be ok. You can't have everyone doing a chinos impression. Just doesn't work.

Sara runs around topless all the time. Definitely haven't see that in awhile, if ever. You make a good point. Everyone has Chinos up on a pedestal. Yes, Sara doesn't have the most perfect English, but that's what you get at most of the other hotels here. We are in Mexico. She has been entertaining for some time and does a good job

Not saying the other staff don't try hard, but it will not be the same without Chino, he is truly missed. I was there in April when he was gone for a few days and the Vibe is not was not as strong.zzzzzzzzzzzz

No, nobody will ever replace Chinos or should they try to be a "wanna be" but they do need to continue the same energy, interaction with guests and have someone that get people pumped up and want to participate. We are DJ's and it's a no brainer. People feed off high energy leaders...

We were there from the 14th to the 21st (trip # 4) .things are not even close to the way it was when Chino ran the show. The pool side games were very weak without chinos crazy ways.

The very first time i went to temptation my friend that took me said dude you gotta see this guy hes all tatted up and pierced .. Before we knew it he had us naked playing some game..... Didnt even think that would be the case..... I have been there 16 times now and of those times chinos has not been there 2 1/2 times there is a differance with and without "the life of the party" .... My all time favorites have gotta be chinos omar lalo the trio that hooked me in to repeating ..... Also have really liked taryn, little britney ( chinos name for stephanie) and stacy this last year rocked too !!!

Nothing against sara but she was not good in early august and brenda does not have a look on her face that she even wants to be there!!

All of the girls i enjoyed said what a hard ass chinos was i think that is why each of them excelled ....

I know i have been going multiple times a year but will probably only go in july when my temptation family goes !!!

Brenda told me just yesterday that she is so happy to be back at a hotel she loves. And after watching her, I can see it. Everyone has off moments..and even this forum has had some Chinos bashing on it from time to time.

Mid October visit. Brenda had just returned. She really does enjoy working there, and does a pretty darn good job. Sara can be hard to understand, too; I think it's partly a microphone issue- Brenda was sometimes hard to understand, too. They might solve some of the issue with a PA system modification. Sara is easier to understand talking to her in person, which also makes me question the PA system. Both girls have the talent for the job. No, they aren't Chinos, but no one is. He was like the Michael Jordan of the business- in a class by himself. Which makes me question why the resort can't figure out a way to keep such a unique talent there. A superstar in sports or entertainment is usually given leeway a normal individual doesn't get.
Part of the problem with weak participation in games is, the staff needs to sort of "sell" the idea of getting involved to guests, especially new people. That is an art in itself, getting people to want to get in a beer drinking, belly flop, or arm wrestling contest.
As far as letting the staff have the freedom to do their own thing, I think there's a lot of direction from above telling them to avoid saying certain words, don't do anything that may encourage nudity, tone it down, etc. But that starts to get into another whole discussion about the direction change the resort may or may not be making.

When we went, April and I both participated in stuff here and there- like beer drinking, arm wrestling, things like that- but it was definitely a struggle to get a lot of people involved! Sara does the best she can- she's nice enough but doesn't have that Chinos-charisma. Brenda was fantastic- whoever said that she didn't look like she wanted to be there didn't get a chance to talk to her. The real problem is that, as nice as Manuel and Jose are, they don't really bring a lot of energy/excitement to the table. As good as Sara and Brenda are, I definitely missed Chinos!

Heard a nasty rumor I'm working to verify.....

The good news is Chinos and Omar are currently working on the cancuncare boobs cruises so you can still get your fix of madness if you come along and join us.


I wont pretend this is a situation that will last forever, but I hope it lasts as long as possible. It's working well right now, but may not be the same by the time Feb/March comes around..
