Default World Series WINNER @TTR!

Ended up staying 2 extra days due to Rina. The staff, food and the comaradarie of the guests was OUTSTANDING. Good thing I didn't have the Motezuma when Fresse hit that walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th, game 6 (RALLYBIRDS~YEAH!) Thanks for all that tolerated me too at Patty O's, after 5 celebratory El Jimador tequila shots after the clinch! If this "Dancin' Fool offended anyone after our 11th WS title, I am sorry. One For The Ages!
Full TR to folow soon. Thanks Ritchie for helping me that night, staying a RedBird and not a Angel!

Well, we weren't able to be in Cancun that night, but we WERE at Game 6! It was truly AMAZING!!!!!! Money well spent! We can now take the World Series off our bucket list, having seen what was possibly the most dramatic WS game ever!!!

Game 6 is when Rina was surging, 70MPH winds and buckets of rain! Watched the game in Ritch's and Poppy Joe's room, and celebrated later the Sports Bar! This town is STILL ON FIRE!!!! Hi Charlene! Glad you made it home safe! I was talking to Miguel the security guard on the beach before I left Sunday and he told me that it was supposed to be rainey that afternoon. Good to see ya again! I got a official Yankees jersey I'm sending to Ritch in NYC. NYY fan helping his buddy, a StLC fan, after the clinch! Old Abner did it again!!!

Gotta love my Cards! Was great to win another. I at least got to go to game 7 and see it in person. What a great way to watch a World Series Winner!

It was FANTASTIC Momma! It was during the surge of Rina. I was talking to some folks at the airport when I flew out Sunday morning, and they said that they lost power at their resort during the bottom of the ninth! WTF! And then in game 7 this Canadian guy comes into the sports bar in the 6th inning and he's like "Has the game started yet?
On a sad side note, Cardinal Nation mourns the passing of Bob Forsch, the only Cardinal pitcher to throw 2 no hitters, and a favorite player of mine when I was a kid, only 61 years old. God is smiling on Cardinal Nation, and Forschie and Dizzy are keeping 'em buzy with heat and curves in heaven.

The Cards and Temptation are two of our favorites. There are a bunch of STL area people on the board, and we need to get together sometime for an adult beverage or two. Lots of choices that could include Fast Eddies, Lumiere, or 360 at the Hilton.

I would have rather taken our return trip in April, but with the wife being a teacher we had to work around her spring break. So we are going in the middle of March.
