How about a preview from those who have been to Desire week. We are actually probably a bit the other way. Want really want to go, but afraid it will be too much lifestylers.

A lot of nude, a lot of people watching, games and theme parties, and MAYBE a little playing is what we are after. Hoping that we can go without feeling too awkward if we decide we just can't join in too much.

We know the lifestyle's mantra, "No means no", but even saying no can be a bit awkward if you are the only ones there not.

We have been to every Desire Week and are not in the lifestyle. We have never felt uncomfortable in any way because of that fact. There are many couples that are not in the lifestyle. We also go to Desire Cancun several times a year and again, never an issue about not being in the lifestyle.

We have been to two Desire weeks in Cabo. I don't think you will be uncomfortable if you don't participate in the lifestyle. It's not "in your face". I suspect many of the couples don't participate in the lifestyle and are there to enjoy the atmosphere and watch what happens. We have never felt pressured by anyone at Desire.

We just got back from Desire Week in Cabo and I thought that the lifestyle was less "in your face" there during a Desire Week than a regular week at TTR Cancun. We found that there are quite a few people who are just nudists or just want to come and have a good time with their significant other and have a good time regardless of their social status. My husband and I are actually in the lifestyle and while we were there we had quite a few conversations with several other couples both who actively participate in the lifestyle and others who don't and they all said how comfortable and fun it was to party at TTR Cabo without feeling the pressure of being constantly hit on and never felt segregated. The resort is too small to feel like you have to separate into you're own clique based on whether you're in the lifestyle or not or what level of "play" you want to partipate in. Granted, this was our first Desire Week, and we were surrounded by some pretty great people, but I can only hope all Desire Weeks are like that.

was just checking rooms, most of them are already sold out.only Superior rooms left. If so popular why don't they have more weeks?

The concept seems to be really taking off.
After going to full-time Temptations a few years ago, Original Resorts started by offering two five day stints for the Desire takeovers.
Now it is up to three weeks with 7 nights being offered.
If the concept builds in popularity the options for more weeks could continue to happen. It's likely all based on the bottom line.
One thing seems obvious to us, the Desire weeks cost the resort quite a bit more based on the upgrades in quality, quantity, and abundance of staff.
Just our two cents.

Seems remarkable that they are that close to sold out now; we'll be calling Don at Right Connections about this tomorrow....

Talked to Don at Right Connections today.
No worries with sold out rooms. He did say May Desire bookings have started earlier than normal, but no concerns about a sell out at this point.

We went ahead and booked for the seven days.
The low $100 deposit makes it pretty painless.

I just booked for the week! Hopefully, there will be no problems with my husbands vacation days. We haven't been to Cabo since they changed to Temptation. We were there three times when it was Desire and are REALLY looking forward to being back.

Too funny..... Well, I guess that proves my point about it not being too "in your face" at Desire Week!

Default TTR returning to Desire!

Temptation Resorts made the following post on Facebook today:
Original Resorts will turn its adults only Temptation Resort Spa Los Cabos into its clothing optional Desire Resort & Spa Los
Cabos, and more guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique concept of Desire.

There was an effective date of May 1st! Apparently, Desire Weeks will no longer be needed!

Closing in on two months!

It was 6 months when we all said our goodbyes in November...seemed like forever but it's slowly coming....

HI we just got back from TTR earlier this month and are now thinking of going back in a few months (July 2012) but splitting it up between TTR and Desire. Any insight on the differences in the two locations. We understand Desire is alot more "open" but how does the rooms and resteraunts compare? Pools, staff and nightclubs? Thanks for your help. Feel free to private message us if you want.

Will do, guys!
Dec. was a great time; but all in all very subdued given the TTR format.
Staff is jazzed, the eye candy cometh, but the workload will increase too.

We know several couples who are close friends and attending in May for the first time...should be epic!

Default Theme Nights

How many people going in may will be dressing for theme nights? We will be there for the first time and my wife already has our outfits planned and ordered, I sure hope other people get into the theme nights so I'm not the only guy dressed up to match the wife who is dressing very skimpy and see thru. I really dont want to show up like that and have other people fully dressed with club wear.
We will be there 5-6 thru 5-13 with some friends.

The participation level for Desire weeks is typically very high.
Lat Oct./Nov. most everyone was in themed costume.

Given that your time frame is part of the original Desire week takeover, many should be participating.
The only caveat would be the themes themselves. Last May's "Mime Night" was a failure. Normal theme nights (naughty school girl, naughty nurse etc.) have huge appeal and participation.
Do you have the themes and could you post them?

Rest assured, you won't be the only couple prepared for theme nights, but as I recall, it's easy to get caught up in all the activity at the pool and hot tub and half the time the costumes/theme wear never came out of the luggage...then you wake up on the beach beds at sunrise. We'll be there May 2 - May 13, looking forward to meeting you guys.

Wicked in White
Not-so-innocent lace and lingerie heat up this white-hot party

Sexy School Yard
We have openings for hot professors, must be able to discipline very naughty schoolgirls

Fallen Angels, Horny Devils
Repent another day as arousing angels and delicious devils tempt you into soul-selling delights

Emergency 69
Calling all Naughty Nurses, Fiesty Firefighters and Provocative Police ... somebody needs mouth to mouth

Pirates of Passion
Jolly Rogers and wanton wenches hunt boutiful bootie and loot luscious treasure chests for erotic fortunes

Jungle Love
Let your animal instincts run wild in hot jungle prints as you hunt your prey

This is from the desire web site, I hope these are the themes, they are what we are planning on. If it has changed that would be nice to know, Oh well if it has we will show up in what we have.

Loveshack, I hear ya about getting distracted and not being able to make it to the dance, but since this is our first we are planning for the dances, but hey we are just going to go with the flow, no expectations, except for FUN...
We are only planning on a few different nights, as we would also like to head in to Cabo and go to "Cabo Wabo" and have some Tequila ...

The new Desire website does not have any theme nights listed yet. Those theme nights look like the themes from when the resort was originally Desire from a few years ago. The new Desire Pearl that opens at the end of March just had their themes listed on the website, about a month prior to opening, so that may hold true for posting the themes for Cabo. We are going to Cabo this weekend, hopefully we can get some information about the themes.

Have a fun, safe time guys.

Let us know how things are shaping up for May...
And see if they are planning anything special for the "kickoff."

Mucho gracias!
