Cancun vs. Los Cabos

My wife and I have gone to Cancun 4 times. We started thinking about trying something different when we returned last year and in light of all the changes at the resort I think we will. May try Cabos during Desire week. Has anyony that has been to both have any opinions as to the major differences? Or perhaps, has anyone been anyplace that resembles Temptation Cancun as far as it's entertainment is concerned. Thanks for any help.

I think as far as entertainment at ttr Cancun there are no comparison out there, hubby and I have been to Desire resort not the Cabo one and Hedo, and ttr Cancun many times, the first 2 don't compare to the fun at ttr Cancun.. IMHO.
I cant give an opinion on ttr Cabo yet have to wait another 10 days.. lol also I might add that the entertainment at the sexy pool at cancun is not a big draw for us either .. its the people for us. as for differences in the two ttr...I will try to put together a trip report when we return home.. there are a few trip reports posted as well. one that just came back form a desire week at ttr cabo

cancun has been described as an adult college frat party and los cabos is more of an adult graduate level party

its just not as "loud" as cancun and far more intimate and sexy with a whole lot less of the hooligan vibe. its about 1/5th the size so you get to know everyone and at some level there is almost a sense of community.

We been to Temptation Cancun Desire Los cabos Desire Cancun Tempation Los Cabos and just got back from our Desire week in Los Cabos and if we had a choice we would go to a Desire week or Desire cancun hands down those are our two cents [/B]

your probably right , (for couples) , but you'll need a lot more then '' two cents'' to upgrade.

I looked into the Desire week at Cabo, couldn't even book it with travel agent had to book directly with TTR Cabo and it was over $1000 for that week. Desire in Cancun is the same , more $. If you can afford it go for it.
Some people do a split 10/4 in Cancun, seems to be popular.
