Steve has now got a supply of orange wristbands, but last year he didn't, so just get an orange wristband just in case you can't get one from Steve, it identifies you as a Cancuncare "member" and help you find loads of friends from Steve's Cancuncare website! Without them last year we would not have found half as many people from this site. xxx

Pharmacy over the road sells red bull for $38 pesos (just under $3 dollars). They sell it at the resort for a higher price, but it's not by that much, only $10 pesos or such.

To add to the list, I'd recommend bringing insect repellent. I got eaten alive by mosquitoes on our second day, because even though I brought loads, I stayed up all night and forgot to apply it!

We have found that Skin So Soft from Avon works the best for the bugs in mexico....smells better too.

Thanks for the wristband tip. We did not know that on our first trip there last year.
