Rooftop Hot Tub comparison - TTR Cabo vs Desire Cancun

Our first trip to TTR Cabo is coming up and hubby just asked me if the hot tub is as big as the one at Desire Cancun.

How do they compare at the 2 locations re: size, music, party ambiance, ocean view, swim-up bar, naughtiness late at night? (I assume the Desire 4 pm naked body shots are out of the question at Cabo, at least for a few more months)

Gonna have to find some hot tub friendly swimwear and try not to accidentally strip getting in! Used to the Desire nude tub

I've never been to the Cabo location since it was converted to a Temptation concept property, but I can rate the two based upon when it was a Desire concept property.

These are just my observations and depending on the week and who is there at the time YMMV.

size - definitely Cabo has the larger one
music - they have music at the hot tubs?? - hmm never noticed at either location
party ambiance - definitely Desire Cancun
ocean view - equal but different - a draw
swim-up bar - definitely Desire Cancun - the bar staff there rock !
naughtiness late at night - definitely Desire Cancun, but naughty is too tame a word to use

Well, aesthetically both fabulous...
Just be careful with the steps at Cancun..slippery when wet! We saw a guy bounce, yeah bounce, down those slick tile-covered steps leading up to the hot tub.
Also, Cancun hot tub doesn't have seating down the whole one side. Kinda uncomfortable on the knees or squatting for hours in there...builds the thigh muscles.

Cabo is excellent, although those tiles around the hot tub are deadly slick too. They finally laid a rubber mat down when we were last there.
We know two friends who both did headers on that tile. Ended one's trip early after a trip to Mexican hospital...

We like the jacuzzi at Cabo much more although they both are great.

Cabo is larger, the swim-up bar is more easily accessible even with a lot of people in the pool as well as on the other side. The bar staff at both properties are awesome, as well as all the other staff on site.

The Cabo rooftop jacuzzi area has a much more sexy, erotic atmosphere (IMHO) and does have piped in Chill Lounge type music (as does the Cancun property). More beds in Cabo, they are round mattresses and don't have gauzy curtains on them. But they up a couple of steps and have a bit more 'privacy' than the beds around the jacuzzi in Cancun.

There is an amazing view of the beach and the ocean from the rooftop in Cabo, lots more seating to enjoy the view, if you want to get out of the hot tub or are done on the beds and want to end the night with a night cap, enjoying the beautiful ocean breeze and listen to the crashing surf on the beach.

The firepits in the jaccuzi area are wonderful - and really help keep you warm and cozy on those chilly evenings, although in the summer months they aren't usually needed.

The party atmosphere depends on the crowd - as well as the clothing optional aspect.

Oh, and if you going when it's Temptations, there won't be any beds up there. They put chairs and tables in that area.
