February Boobs Cruise Dates Announcement

I updated the Feb roll call today and have been analysing all the numbers looking at when we can run cruises in February to fit the dates of the most people possible.

From the beginning of the month until around the 10th our numbers are probably too low at the moment to run any. We have around 15-20 people each day from 1st to the 10th.

There is a slight peak of 23 on Feb 5th but to ensure we get the minimum of 20 we probably need quite a few more people around on that date. I'll take another look at a cruise on or around the 5th in a weeks time. New people are joining the forum daily - an average of 15-20 new members a day so the figures will only change upwards.

From the 11th onwards numbers climb daily reaching a peak of 79 people on the 23rd and a mini peak of 34 on the 13th. From the 23rd onwards numbers start to drop quite fast with mid 30's towards the end of the month.

Since the 23rd would probably sell out a cruise quickly some would miss out, so I'm planning to run one 5 days either side of the 23rd to relieve the pressure on that date and also to accommodate people who leave before or arrive after the 23rd.

So as it stands I'm going to aim for cruises on:

• Monday Feb 13th
• Saturday Feb 18th
• Thursday Feb 23rd
• Monday Feb 27th

As mentioned I'll be reviewing the numbers again for a possible cruise on the 5th in a weeks time.

As usual, I wont be opening up deposits until one month beforehand. This avoids having too many boobs cruise sign up stickies and makes it easier to manage at my end if they are introduced one by one, as others complete.

A couple quick questions....What time does it leave and return? I easily get sea sick on boats in the ocean so does it go to land also... thank u also we wanna go really bad but just want to make sure were not in the waves all day

We were actually looking at earlier in the month, our 5th anniversary is Feb 3 so we were hoping to travel around that date. Our flexibility to travel diminishes after the 15th so please do let us know soon if a cruise is set up before the 13th.

The boat leaves at 10am and we'll be back at the hotel by 5:30.

We make two stops on land, one at the beach club for games and lunch which is about an hour and a half. Then another stop at downtown Isla Mujeres for maybe an hour or so for shopping, free time or more drinking at the stinky bar.

Obviously we cannot predict the weather on any given day, but the area we cruise is quite sheltered since it's an 8 mile stretch between the island and the mainland and the boat being a catamaran is more stable than boats with just one hull.

We do sometimes have people who get seasick, but even on the worst days this is no more than 1 in 10 I'd guess. Most cruises no one is sea sick.

If anyone wants to do two cruises in one trip we will work out a nice discount for you on your 2nd cruise.

At the moment we only have 14 people at the resort for the 3rd, on the 5th we have 23. Not all of those will want to do the boobs cruise. We need 20 minimum so I think it will be tough to get the numbers early Feb as it stands currently.

We'll see how it pans out over the next week or so, lots of new folks signing up every day and we occasionally get larger groups interested that may tip the balance.

We have a lot of people leaving the 14th and very few arriving on the 13th. The numbers for a cruise on the 13th are a little low at the moment already and on the 14th they'd be lower still.

It actually is about $400 more if we travel after February 8th than late January, which surprises me. I think there is some special with TTR and the rooms are cheaper in January, but it is measurable enough of a difference to consider going earlier, especially since it becomes more difficult to be gone for a week after the 15th. I am surprised there are not higher numbers around Valentine's Day ... Anyway, we will decide what we are going to do soon before the flights get weird on us (not really into red-eye flights!!).

I haven't planned any dates for March yet, we plan around one month ahead and dates are based on when the most people are around. Some weeks are busier than others and I use the monthly roll calls to find the dates.

As for payment, we ask for a $25pp deposit up front via Paypal, and then you pay the balance of $40pp on the day at the marina.

See above for the cost, the boat leaves at 10am and is back at the hotel for 5:30pm

Not 100% sure yet on the discount for those that take two trips during their stay. I need to discuss it with the boat operator and see what they say, but it will be worth having. Will let everyone know by the time we open up for Feb cruise deposits if not sooner.
