|  I guess ill chime in quick, I find it almost impossible that the drinks are watered down, like I said on another thread, that would be one hell of an undertaking to do per bottle, if the resort buys the bottle with less alcohol on the other hand, that I dont know, all I know is I have never had a problem getting drunk there every trip for over 10 years now... ive gained many nicknames and many memories from drunken antics LOL. I have actually had to ask the bartenders to give me a splash of soda, cuz they made it too strong.. Complaining about alcohol in the drinks at Temptations is like leaving a chinese buffet hungry... its your own fault, its all inclusive.. taste it, ask for a splash more, ask for a double, drink faster LOL... So in my humble opinion ( and FYI, i dont go for the beach or scenery, I go to drink and have fun) the drinks are not watered down... P.S. I can not drink as much at home as I do at temptation either, then again at home im not drinking all day every day in the 90 degree mexican sun, by day 3 my tolerance is better then day 1 of the trip, by day 7 im pulling all nighters and hanging out in mop closets... just sayn  |

| Weak drinks? maybe. Actually watered down booze in bottles? I really doubt it! I will research this in-depth in a couple of weeks and report! |

| I've always said that the drinks were not watered down, seen too many drunk people. Been there myself and I'm coming from 6,600 feet so it takes a lot to get me drunk. But like everyone else has said, if you think you're getting watered down drinks, just keep drinking... Jamie |

| proof???? i always buy a bottle of crown royal at the airport and designate one day at the pool "crown royal day" that being said unless they are watering down MY bottle when im not looking i can drink twice as much in cancun as i can drink in the US. i have NEVER been able to finish a bottle here even with a little help from my friends but i always finish the bottle in cancun in one pool day. (with a little help also) just my opinion.... frank

| Bad Vodka!...watered down isnt the problem. I know im not the only one who's ordered a smirnoff and got something that more resembles nail polish remover than vodka. It has a dark blue label and says "vodka"...i see them pouring it into the blended drinks, When i order a smirnoff and soda off a waitress or waiter, the chances are 50/50 that im gonna actually get the smirnoff or that other stuff (I can tell by the smell). Then i get up and walk to one of my fav bartenders and get the good stuff. Im not a "top shelf" drinker, but that crap is undrinkable and why a nice resort like ttr serves it is beyond my imagination.. |

| Is it water down is it not.. who knows I don't, I'm not the one behind the bar nor am I the one who purchase the alchol for the resort..What I do know is when I've been to Temptations I've had no problem getting drunk. Notice people saying well it could be elevation, could be heat, ice melting in your drinks. what I have noticed is nobody has said anything about attitude. Now for me when I go to Temptations I'm there to have the time of my life, now worries no stress, great people and about as much fun as an adult can have, with that attitude I have no problem with the drinks. eg. You go to a party or bar at home your pissy bitchy etc. You drink.. do you have fun yeah somtimes or somtimes you just turn into a nasty pissy bitchy drunk. now if you go to a party in a great mood you know your going to have a blast well hell yeah you have a good time.. | attitude!! thats right!! in a happy excited mood i really can get drunk off one beer!! not wasted but feeling really good! if im feeling so so, i could put down a 6 pack and still feel so so. if your hard to plese, than well....... if you just want fun in the sun, friendly people, good times then its a blast, and the drinks are plenty strong!! there is always more in the magic bottle behind the bar!!!

| Something about a pool, the sun and half-naked people (or fully naked...but that's a Temptation Cabo story for another time) that encourages us to get our drink on. We honestly believe that real-life stresses in addition to the booze is what causes hangovers. We party our asses off at the pools in Vegas or down in Mexico from right after breakfast until they close the pool and force us to move the party inside. We've consumed more than double on vacation what we would at home...no hangover on vacation. But when we have a pool party at home and overdo it, we are zombies the next day. We don't think it's watered-down booze, we just think it's cheaper, weaker booze. At Temptation Cabo, to get the good namebrand stuff, you had to be a timeshare owner. Otherwise you were drinking from the stuff they scraped off the bottom of the barrel. Example...Mexican-made vodka, brandnamed "Vodka", that you could strip a diesel engine with. But then again, Malibu Rum is made in Canada from all that Canadian sugar cane, so whatever. If you're buying a round in Cancun in April, he likes margs and daquaris and she likes blue hawaiians, guacamoles or pink pussy shots. ;-)

| They don't water down the booze, some times Wendy can smell the rum in my glass when she is beside me they pour mine so strong.

| They only water it down if you are too drunk....I know cause my eyes are red from the chlorine every morning and i get week ones, hell even chino thought i was tanked before i had a drink....lol |

| Anybody that has ever drank in ANY bar knows if you order a rum and coke,a bourbon and coke,etc. you get bar liquor. The cheap ass bar liquor they serve in bars is just as bad as the generic they serve in TTR. That being said order your drinks by naming your liquor preference. They will serve you Cuervo,Smirnoff,and used to be it was Jack Daniels. I am a pretty good judge of booze(Having plenty of experience) and have been there several times and the booze has always been fine. The cheap stuff is nasty,but so is 5.00 a bottle bar whisky in the states. Go have fun,drink your but off and make plenty of friends while you are there. It is all very easy to do!

| just got back yesterday. try telling my liver the drinks are watered down. all day everyday people are bouncing off the walls screaming yelling. that aint happening cause there drinking watered down booze. i have worked in bars for years and people always claim the booze is watered down. even the cheapest of the cheapest owners i worked for never watered down booze. be back to temptations next jan for sure |
