|  Beach? Ok, so when you look at the webcam: Cancun Live Webcam - Live Webcam in Cancun You see the bayside and the ocean side. TTR is on the bayside...what's the closest beach on the ocean side one might get to? If there's one within walking distance or a short bus ride we'd be interested in checking it out. Thanks for any assistance. We'll be at TTR 2/9 - 19. |

|  Closest on the Ocean side would be the public beach behind Coco Bongo...10-15 min by bus...can't remember the name...just walk between Coco Bongo and The City night clubs...very nice beach...with the big waves...

| Lagoon One note. The picture you see is of the "Lagoon side" and the "Ocean side". TTR is on the "Ocean side" but it is sheltered from the big waves due to it's location.

| Yeah that's correct the view you see on the webcam is left side is the lagoon, right side is the ocean but the East facing view. i.e the side of the 7. The bay side (top of the 7 where TTR is) is right at the top of the picture and you can see it running off to the left in the distance. The beach behind Coco Bongo is really nice - it's called Playa Gaviotas. Just watch out for the rip off merchants trying to charge you an outrageous price to sit at the tables and chairs that they have illegally bought onto the beach for rent. |
