| Hey everyone, Was there anyone that was at the sexy pool in the 'lovely' weather last Saturday? There was a man that nearly drowned and it was extremely scary. I felt pretty traumatized by seeing this (can't imagine the couple that found him). I sent an email requesting any info from the resort last Sunday (after I was home) for an update, but haven't heard anything. I'm concerned from him and hoping he made it through okay. Anyone know who this man is or if he's okay?

Talk to piratepair as he was one of them that revived him. I believe he did drown but had a pulse when he was taken away. | |

| Our friends also went over to make sure he was breathing as he is a CPR instructor- he was- so he left it up to the resort after that. Scary! I have a feeling the resort can't say much for privacy issues, and if he is not doing well they wouldn't want anyone to know about it. |

| Super super common here. Last year my bf worked as a supervisor for a travel company and her had to help three wives and their kids to transport deceased bodies from drownings...in a as month span. It took too much of a mental drain on him that he had to quit. The hotel for sure will not release any information. What a very unfortunate event that I hope makes people realize too much alcohol can and will ruin a party. I hope you recover |

| I talked to a security guard after the ambulance left. He said the man was conscious when they took him to hospital. |

| Thanks for the responses. He was breathing and opening his eyes when he left (although they were basically just rolling around), however he was still quite blue and they didn't know how long he'd been without oxygen. Also, it took 25 minutes for the ambulance to arrive. Pretty scary business. It was surreal. Especially to be among the very few sober people in the area. At least he made it... just hope he can fully recover. |
