O'MMFG - really ?!!?!

So we checked in to a jacuzzi room. About 2 Hours later Michael tried to take a shower and got only cold water. The drain ended up leaking into our room big time!! We got moved after I unpacked everything. So Michael negotiated some stuff. Needless to say, when I was offered a $550 deal for drops of love, I gave him a mouth full!! OMFG - are you kidding me?!

Wifi and a temptation suite upgrade was enough - but damn, what are the fucking odds?! We would have been perfectly happy with the jacuzzi room...

Agree totally Deb! The buildings are older, occasionally something like this does happen. As for the upswell? Well that happens everywhere. Just let it go and enjoy the sun.

We are having a great time and waiting with everyone in Paty O's for the boobs cruise! Our new room is 1201 and it is awesome!! The weather is great!! Good times :-)

We had drainage problems in our room (ground floor next to Paty 'O), the worst being when we did a bit of hand washing in the sink. The volume of water draining out of the sink led to a load of black crap coming out of the drain underneath it. No bother to us though, just felt bad leaving that mess for the cleaner to deal with the next day.

We also started getting suspicious smells in the shower drain nearer the end of our two week stay, but again we could handle this.

Smell from the drain is common on ground floors in the tropics. They don't have the same plumbing codes ,,,,, I usually take the small towel wet it and leave it on the floor over the drain. Problem solved (for smell).

I could deal with the water from the shower coming up and flooding the room. The breaking point was the sewage bubbling up from the drain into the room.

Last full day here and we are sitting by the sexy pool in the wind with several couples on the forum. It has been a really great week for sure! I will post pictures and a trip report later in the week. We get home around midnight on Wednesday. I will need to detox and take a lot of milk thistle to repair my liver after this trip :-) got some gnarly bruises that were a surprise the next day, but CC friends filled in the blackouts in my memory! Fun sheer night tonight - then hang in the pool before going to the airport at 1:15 - hope the wind dies down and it is sunny in the morning!! Need that before going back to Seattle!!
