|  Deluxe std vs Deluxe ocean view We are coming for the first time to TTR May 14 -21 and I we were wondering if it is worthwhile to upgrade to an ocean view room? Sure would like to hear your opinions on this. We love to take pics especially on the balcony so let us know TY Jim and Kate |

| Depends what you like... we always upgrade to a first floor jacuzzi room in the quiet pool area. No steps after a long night of drinking and the jacuzzi is actually quite nice during a rainstorm...

| Well the good thing about booking a ocean view is you won't get stuck in a room with a view of the parking lot. The bad thing about booking an ocean view is sometimes without paying extra you can get an ocean view anyway. Lots of people wait till they arrive, see where their room is and then negotiate an upgrade if they so choose.

| It was only $25 a night to upgrade to the ocean view, and the room is definitely worth it to us. 3rd floor of Building 1 is very nice, no noise, no funny smells, great balcony view. We just pay for the upgrade in advance to be sure we get what we want.
