Mini trip report Jan 25 - Feb 1

Bottom line - we had a wonderful time! The boobs cruise was awesome on the 26th! We met great new friends from Cancuncare - and we are detoxing now, having been home a few days, repairing our livers!

And tiogamike and I can tell you from experience that it is slippery in the pool area, I think we may have won the "most injured by drinking too much" award, if there was one - and I don't think respect is the prize

Michael and I are preparing separate detailed trip reports, so you can have a his/hers type perspective of the trip.

I am also working on a new list of recommendations that I think will be helpful for anyone. Just a quick sample, I recommend that you bring water shoes with soles that will help you not slip on slick surfaces, like the pool edge - trust me on this one - money well spent!! I have the bruises to prove it - and no one is looking at your feet anyway!!

So - hugs and kisses to everyone we had so much fun with - I will post more pictures in an album very soon (I have lots from the boobs cruise, but need to edit them with black rectangles to block the boobies) - and I'm going to have a margarita and chill with my awesome husband, who was kind enough to treat me to a great vacation for our 5th anniversary, which is officially today

Great idea on the water shoes! I was very nervous walking over the tiles from the quiet pool through to the wash room with wet feet. It was touch and go whether I'd slip or not. Didn't want to put my flip flops back on again because it just doesn't feel right walking in wet flip flops.

PM me if you need any help blocking out breasts in pics (I use Photoshop which is great at just blurring the right areas rather than leaving colour blocks on the picture).

That is exactly what I am doing with the pics with Photoshop - blur works better!

The other good thing about wearing the water shoes in the pool is that the edges of the tiles can be sharp, and some people we met there had cuts on their feet from stepping on the sharp edges. But toward the end of the day the sexy pool can get really slimy with all the sunblock and whipped cream and so when you get out of the jetted pool area and walk on the shallow part that is only a few inches deep to get out, that's where you can really slip (guilty!). Then if it rains the side of the pool and the hall tiles are very slick.

I also fell in our bathroom getting out of the jacuzzi tub when we were having a little party there with M&D and CurlsandSmiley - I don't remember this fall, just taking their word for it (and the bruise under my chin) - but drinking, wet feet, and tile are not the best combo for safety!!

We called the front desk at 4am, explained what happened and asked for a medic to staple his forehead. 10 minutes later, a knock at the door. They sent a plumber w/ a wrench

I am really lucky I didn't hurt myself like that - just got some nasty bruises. The worst bruise wasn't even from being drunk or stupid, though. I was just brushing my teeth, then turned to leave and the stupidly placed towel rod caught the front of my left thigh - it fucking hurt so bad! Gave me a 3 inch long bruise right on the front of my leg, 2 days into the trip - lucky boobs take people's eyes away from gnarly bruises on the legs

That must happen quite frequently. We were awoken by a plumber banging on our door at 4am in Jan! We hadn't asked for him, and were a little annoyed being woken up in the middle of the night when we had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door!

Yeah, I have several other pictures that are more NC-17 or R+, can't post them - but I did make an unrated photo album on FB restricted to my closest friends and TTR got a lot of "wow, that place looks like fun" comments.

It was so awesome meeting everyone we did from Cancuncare this time - it made SUCH a difference to us from the last time where we were so isolated from everyone the first 3 days due to the storm. Just nice folks from all over - and we had a blast!! If any of you ever get to Seattle, please let me know because we would love to hang out again :-)

The big bruise on the front of my leg is STILL there - watch out for towel rods in lame places! With all the open wall space in that bathroom, I cannot figure out why they would put a towel rod there! Very dangerous!

I did get tan before the trip from the tanning bed, no way I could have otherwise in Seattle! If I wouldn't have, my pasty white legs would have looked worse from the bruises for sure!

Wow, you'll have a great time! We left right after we got power back and there was still snow on the ground - our internet and cable TV were still out. Boy were we glad to get to the warm air and sunshine after that week of hell! Hope you guys didn't suffer too much from the snow/ice! There are broken tree branches and uprooted trees all over where we are in Covington/Maple Valley!
