Mark & Sharon Feb. 13--20 Trip Report ***Pics Added***

Monday Feb. 12: We left Connecticut in the evening and drove to our hotel by the airport in NY—we were a bit worried about what kind of place it would be because I’m known for finding ‘fantastic deals’ at these real scary places. (I once booked a place in California, thought I had found the best deal ever –even recruited 3 others to come—and I swear I am not making this up, the place actually had cardboard on one of our room windows instead of glass.) Anyway, as it turned out the place in NY (Pan American Hotel) was actually quite nice. They had overbooked so we got upgraded to a large suite. After check in we hit the hotel bar and laughed at the folks who were going to have to endure the snow storm on Tuesday while we relaxed in Cancun.


Tuesday Feb. 13:

Along with other important items, such as passports and tickets, we like to bring a couple bottles of Gatorade with vodka for the airport—just in case there is any stretch of time when a bar is not available. Due to the liquid ban we weren’t sure if we could get the vodka through so we emptied out a couple of sample size shampoo bottles and filled them with vodka, once we passed security we bought Gatorade and filled them :idea: . As it turns out, shampoo flavored vodka is not pleasant. Mark took it like a man and drank mine and his.

Arrived in Cancun around 11:00 a.m, haggled with the cab drivers till we got one for $35 and off we went. We had paid for the trip through an e-check which had not cleared by the time we left and as a result we did not have our pre-paid voucher yet. We were able to check in without a problem and Steve even came later on and personally delivered the voucher to our room! Is that good service, or what?!

The weather was gorgeous today and we hung out at the bar while we waited for our room to be ready and met up with others from this site. I don’t think we even had our room yet when we were called to play some sort of contest, I believe it was the bathing suit exchange contest. We lost miserably. Mark found some way to turn a regular bathing-suit bottom into a thong :shock: and we couldn’t get our act together on time. Was good fun though.

Tonight was the beach party but I was way too tired! We lay in the hammock and watched the volleyball game then I slept in the hammock till the end of the party. Soooo relaxing. Nothing better than sleeping with the warm wind on your face and the sound of the ocean in the background. We hit Nice Shoes on our way back then had an early night. I think this was the only night we went to bed early (around 2:00a.m.)

Wednesday Feb. 14th

V-day. I woke up to find coffee waiting and a present—what a guy! :lotsoflove: He even got up early and reserved dinner at the Italian restaurant. We didn’t actually make it to dinner because we were having way too much fun but it was a very nice thought.

Had the pleasure of hanging out with Mr & Mrs Tits McGee at the pool as well as Mike & Diane, Chrissy, Fred and Deb, Sean and Yvonne, and many others—you guys are awesome! This morning they played the ‘see-how-many-couples-you-can-fit-in-the-hot-tub’ as well as the Iron Man competition. I’ve tried to put pictures of both of those below but if they don’t appear directly in the thread they should be on the attached site of pics.

In the evening we mostly hung at Nice Shoes and danced our asses off. That was a crazy night. Steph pulled a Charlie’s Angels move on a chick who didn’t understand the meaning of no—I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. :bow:

Thursday Feb 15th

I have no idea what happened during the day or the evening. I wanna say it was the Smart Ass Trivia—girls won. I swear Chinos was picking on me and made me do a shot regardless of anything I did. “She’s smiling—tequila for her!” , “She’s NOT smiling—tequila for her!” I couldn’t win. The guys gave us a sexy lap dance so it was worth it.

Friday Feb 16th

Poor Mark was very sick today so we were off to a late start. Multiple Drunken Monkeys and Long Islands seemed to help a bit. I got dragged into naked tequila volleyball which was lots o fun—especially since I was on the winning team. It was a pretty cold day and the thought of a bucket of ice on me was so not my thing.



The evening is a blur but I seem to recall something involving Diane’s toe, Mark’s ear and a lot of dry-heaving. Oh yeah, and the celebrity look-alike troop were awesome.

Saturday Feb. 17th

This day was just evil. I was called first thing in the morning for body shots and coaxed by Chinos to do 8 tequila shots in a row while everyone cheered. (Who cares if my livers’ shot. I won. ) That should give some insight into the rest of the day. All I know is the Bingo game was a mess, I ended up having to do naked laps in the pool, get spanked and take my bathing suit back from Omar and Chinos. I swear they told me different rules to this game although everyone else agreed that they announced it fair and square. Perhaps the body shots had taken their toll?

In the afternoon/evening we hung out at the bar with the pool tables (I forget it’s name) and our bartender was great. I would only get half way through my Long Island and he’d have another one there waiting.

Tonight was beer drinking contest night—Mark made America proud and hands down, won the title of Mr. Alcoholic 2007. Actually both male and female were won by the Americans. :beergone:

Sunday Feb. 18th

This day is sorta blurred but I’m pretty sure this was the Mr. BBG contest day. Mark deserved a standing ovation for his orgasm imitation as well as his Michael Jackson dance imitation. Poor little wallflower. :ladiesman:

Not really sure what happened the rest of the day but I think this was the night we ate at the seafood restaurant—their food was really good.

We ended up at Nice Shoes later, again dancing our asses off. We always swore we’d go to one of the bars in the evening but we’d have such a good time dancing and hanging with the people we were with that we’d end up staying at the resort all night! Oh well, that gives us another reason to book another trip. :lotsofmichaelf:

Monday Feb. 19th

Another beautiful day at BBG! We walked out of our room to find Chinos yelling that he’d already signed us up for Crazy darts! I didn’t care if I won, but I sure as hell didn’t want to lose! The poor guys all ended up in florescent thongs and had to take various punishments. I had to give my bathing suit to some guy and wear his—which didn’t really bother me but it was my big mouth that always got me in trouble. Chinos makes up rules constantly (To Guys: “You got a bull’s eye! That means 50 points!” To Me: “You got a bulls eye! Automatic Top Off”) and boy his rings sure sting! I ended up gagged and in another guys shorts but felt better when I was able to give Mark a wedgy to end all wedgies. :bawl: Mark was actually doing quite well which was surprising considering the amount of shots we had had. He ended up being the Crazy Darts Champion.

After the loser received his flour, egg, etc concoction, we all went into the street and the loser did his dance carrying his loser sign while Chinos stopped traffic.

Tuesday Feb. 20th

So Sad!!! Today we had to go home. In an act of protest Mark decided to stay in bed and be grumpy so I went out to the beach and joined in on horse shoes. After almost hitting the people who were trying to tan on the beach, I got kicked off the team for failure to even come close to making a single shot. Oh well. I cheered from the side with some drinks. :beerdrink:

When Mark came out to join us we checked out and then still had about 3 hours of drinking left, which we felt was our civic duty to use fully. This was a bad idea as it made it just that much harder to leave! After exchanging e-mails with a million people (BIG mistake—now that we are home and sober we can’t match up emails and names to faces. People are writing us and we have no idea who they are ) we headed home.



We had such a great time and want to thank all the really cool people we met, the cool people we knew and got to hang out with again, Steve for his services in booking, as well as all the hard working staff who made our vacation what it was. Can’t wait to go again and hopefully meet up with many of you there!

Spirit Air is having a $99 OW sale from a lot of places--I'm debating what to do! We want to go in June to meet up with the June crew but that seems so far away so we want to go in May also, but Mark's vacation is in July/August so we sorta have to go somewhere then. Oh well, might have to do long weekends all those months.

We actually recognized you when looking at pics and were trying to figure from your avatar if it was you guys or not. Lol, no one wants to be the crazy drunk that writes people after a trip and gets the "Uh, sorry, wasn't us reply".

Mark was trying so hard to convince me to change our flight plans so we could stay longer. Unfortunately that was not an option but he sure tried!

I agree, the thing with the sunglasses is creepy. This is our 3rd trip, 2nd time in April. Kind of becoming a birthday thing for me. Once a year, hell or high water.

I think we stayed at a place called White Sands or White Castle or something, I forget. It was just a regular hotel, not all inclusive. It was a nice, relaxing place but nothing like BBG.
