| I've heard that when you bring a gift for an employee or a Cast member, that there needs to be some kind of proof from the giver, to the person- that it was indeed given as a gift- so that they do not face some kind of trouble- or accusation of possessing this item illegally. Any input on this- is there a phrase that expresses that this item was a gift- in Spanish, that they have proof? And- finally, if the gift were to be clothing of some sort - like a tee shirt- or something - is there a basic size of the gentlemen Cast memebers- are they typically a medium or so - I mean, I know roughly the size of some of them - but bartenders in particular, I'm not sure I remember an average size of these people. Thanks for help!! I'd just like to show a little appreciation for the outstanding service they provide- and I'd like to do it in addition to my cash offering. Smiles~ Mary Kay

| I would think a simple note addressed to them, saying you hope they like it, signed by you would suffice. I know you said the gift(s) would be in addition to money, just realize a gift won't pay their light bill or buy food for their children. I suggest just giving more money than whatever you planned instead of the gift, unless there is something of a personal nature you want them to have. |

| We usually bring a few things with us like shirts and some little trinkets. We also bring a few items for there kids if they have them. Most stuff like that they don't even get questioned about. Worse case they'll ask you to write a note with your room number on it in case of any questioning. We also like to tip big too some our better friends at the resort. Goes a lot longer then a T-shirt or hat. We will also usually give like twenty or twenty five bucks to each of there childern before we leave. They all appreciate it very much. We also take there family out to eat usually once while we our down there and they usually return the favor and have us over to there house for dinner or lunch. Just remember you can never go wrong with money. Nick and Renee |

| Except for the repeaters, I think too many people may overlook tipping the cast. I was guilty my first trip just because it didn't cross my mind. I always tipped everyone else and then it donned on me that they deserve tips more than anyone else...so I've tried to make up for it on my last 5 trips! We actually talked about this issue a few times on the last trip and too many people had never thought about it. I wish there was an easy way to spread the word. Without the cast, BBG just wouldn't be BBG! On my way out, I asked if there was anything I could bring back on my next trip for them. I'm not sure if it was a joke or not, but I was asked to bring back a specific adult-item (no, batteries are not required!!) for some of their games. I'm not sure if they really want it or if they want me to explain to airport security why I travel with such a thing! They used to make you turn on your PCs to prove they work...I wonder what they would do for this?? I also never thought about adding tip money for their kids...that's a good idea. Guess I'll have to start making up for that too!! Ken |
