| Ignore the forecast. We went last sept and it forecast rain everyday - it rained on a few days but only for 20 mins. - it rained a bit during the night to be honest also but who cares when youre asleep!!!. So.... IGNORE IT IGNORE IT  It'll be wonderful - enjoy yourselves - we cant wait to get back this Sept. Take HIGH factor sun cream - we took factor 30 and STILL burned to a frazzle. Its factor 50 all the way this year! Have a good one! xxxxx |

| The weather forecast is always unreliable for Cancun, but at this time of year there is plenty of sunshine despite what the forecast says. Before our trip back to the UK it had rained once in 6 weeks, and I think every day the internet forecasts had been for a 20% chance of rain. | To give you an idea of how to read the qweather forecast you saw..... Tuesday 5/22 it was HOT! we had a 5 minutes shower about 2 PM that everyone loved because it cooled everything off. Wednesday.. HOT!! no rain.. Thursday.. HOT!!!! 10 minutes shower at noon... Friday... Still Hot. had a cople of 10 minute showers during the day and few more at night. Saturday two 5 minutes shjowers in the mornig and then it started warming up again. This time of year, if it raims, you looking at 10 minute shows at the most. Seriously. When there are clouds, really slap on the sunscreen cause you're still getting sun, just don't feel it as much. You will still burn. Just go and party. Use the rain showers as a reminder to go to the bar and refill your drink. Jamie |

| I just joined the board, we are from Iowa and plan a trip to BBG in the future, likely sometime in the winter months for a break from the cold, I am thinking Nov to Feb sometime. Is there a preference as far as the weather or water temp? I dont want to go if one of those months historically is a Cold or bad month, We pretty much want to lay in the sun and have a good time.

I always go in late October/early November, again in December, Jan and feb and typically those are months where I'm wwearing jeans and sometimes a jacket at night. For me, the pool water is usually too cold to get into from Nov through Jan (it is not heated) but it does start to warm up in Feb, particularly mid to late Feb. You may have others tell you differently and obviously the weather there is much warmer than it is back home but as someone who goes just about every month i would not choose to go during that time if it was my one and only trip of the year there. I would go in October or wait until mif to late Feb.

| I have to say that I thought it was rather chilly some of the evenings that we were there the first week of March. When the sun was out during the day it was wonderful, but the pool water ws still a bit cool, if the sun was under a cloud, or there was a breeze, the water was too cold for me. We are planning our next trip for later in April, in hopes of warmer weather. |

You'll see quite the difference in the weather. April is really the turn around month weather wise as far as I am concerned. Feb and March aren't too bad but it still can be chilly and the pool can be quite brisk.

| I have to say that one of Karen's sayings "A rainy day at BBG is still better than any day at work" still holds true
