| Sorry guys, I finally got around to resize/edit and post the pics. http://community.webshots.com/user/namn4923 When we got back on the 22nd, all I saw was snow in Albuquerque, how sad. Until now I still miss BBG and all the fun in Cancun. Well, cancuncare really helped making my trip so wonderful and now it’s my duty to give a good time report, right? So, here it is (I'm writting this completely from memory, so things might get mixed up a little bit) Fri 12/15: My buddy T and I got to Cancun airport around 2:00 p.m. It was smooth and easy through custom. The air felt so different, warm and humid compared to NM. However, it was raining outside and some guy told us that it has been raining for the past 4-5 days. We was like “oh sh!t, well, what can we do, might as well enjoy it, there’s not much rain in NM anyway”. We got a private transfer to BBG, thanks to T’s RCI member. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got a room in the new section over look the quiet pool, it was nice, I mean, no bath tub, bed a little hard, but nothing to complain. We only sleep for 3-4 hours (or less) each night anyway.... Since it was our first time at BBG, we the rest of the evening walking around the resort, checking out the buffet, the “famous” sexy pool”, the bar behind the lobby… I tried out most of the drinks I’ve heard from Cancuncare, blue bay, drunken monkey, Miami vice, blue sky, sex on the beach, … and finally the awesome “Chi Chi”. T and I planned to go out to the club that night, but we didn’t make it at all after 15 drinks or so in two hours. Saturday: Woke up at 8:00, we tried to reserve the Chinese restaurant but on the way someone told us that we have to go to the Chinese restaurant and wait for it to open to do the reservation. I kept coming back to check it, and it never opened that morning. We found out the hard way that reservation had to be made at the Italian Restaurant. So we ate at the buffet that night and the food was decent. We ended up hanging out at the beach trying to get some tan and sometime going up to the sexy pool to get a few drinks and watch the game. I tried to find cancuncare people, but couldn’t see anyone. T and I played volleyball in the afternoon and we met some great people, shoot, I forgot all the names. It’s probably because of all the beer we slammed after volleyball. Then came a few tequila shots, and rainbow shots… The next thing we know, the girls start spanking each others. It was hilarious. Angela and two other girls did a tri-kiss which was hot, then Scott, Angelina’s boyfriends, tried to kiss another guy. I think it was the tequila that droved all the kissing and spanking; I’m still debating if I should post all those spanking pictures on here, it’s pretty X-rated, lol We finally met Dave and James from Cancuncare. Then we also met a group of wonderful people from Mexico City, Fabi, Gabi, John and Gabi 2. That night T, James, Sean and I went to Basic. The club is small but nice, lots of local that night and they play more Mexican music than the regular hip hop and house. It was Sean’s last night, and we kept pouring drinks for him. A quote from Sean, “to avoid peer pressure, just say YES”, and yes, we all got pretty f$cked up. Sunday: We went on the Isla Mujeres tour and we both really enjoyed it. The first three hours wasn’t fun since I was still recovering from the hang over. First, we did the snorkeling which really helped waking me up. The water is crystal clear and we saw all kinds of fish. The coral reef wasn’t all that impressive, but lots and lots of colorful fish. We even saw some barracuda and I tried to swim over and touched it (I know, that’s stupid) I managed to snap a few shots with the cute little nurse shark. The trip from the island back to the resort is much more interesting. Tequila was flowing, and everyone took the shots, one, two, even three shots at a time. Good music for the whole trip and of course after having enough alcohol, people started to dance and have a good time. We didn’t book the trip with the resort, which I thought was a mistake. It could have been much more fun if we went with the people we already knew and hung out with. Dinner at the seafood restaurant was very good. Our waiter, Alex, was very nice and friendly. We tried the seafood soup, shrimp cocktail, grilled grouper fillet and rib-eye steak. They were all delicious. We didn't like the wine. We tried both the white and red wine. The white is kinda sweet and has a weird sour after taste. The red is merlot, I think, which is just ok, taste like those $3-4 bottle at Walmart. It’s much better to have a Chi-Chi with your dinner and ask them to make it a little stronger. Gotta love the Chi-chi Later in the evening Eric came in. The dude got so excited and was totally ready to party. Eric and I joined the beer drinking contest, which we lost right at the first round. We don’t suck, just that we like to sip and enjoy our drinks slowly, (yeah, whatever) The Canadian team won both men and women champion. I was do damn impressed with the girl champion, she can drink, man! The club that night was Daddy Rock. It was ok, nothing impressive. The best part was hanging out with Sharon and Angela from New York. They were fun, friendly and very nice. Eric kept downing the vodka and cranberry. I warned him, but the b!tch didn’t listen. By the way, if you’re buzzed, don’t get up on the chair and dance. I almost felt down a couple times and somebody else did. By 2:00 am, Eric was completely wasted. I should gave more details how we carried Eric back, but I’ll save him the embarrassment. Monday: T and I did the fishing trip in the morning while Eric slept like a rock from the Vodka. My advice to you, if you’re a fisherman, don’t do the fishing trip. It was a little lame! As you see, I’m not a complaining type, but I’ll say this again, the fishing trip was lame (at least for fishermen) I wanted to do my own fishing, tied the hook, put the bait on, set the hook, reel the trophy in,… the whole packet. But all they let us did was reeling the fish in. Basically the crew catches the fish, hand you the rod, and you have 1 minute to pull the fish in. The fish was biting very good, mostly barracuda, big one. Four people on the boat caught 18 barracudas. Two things you should definitely bring: sun block and sea sick medicine. The water was rough, very rough. The best part about the fishing trip was eating the fish. We brought a grouper and some barracuda fillet to the restaurant and they cooked lunch for us. It was delicious. After lunch was volleyball again, then we learned wind surfing. Well, it was a lot harder than it looked. If it’s your first time, I guarantee you will fall at least 10 times. But once you get used to it, wind surfing can be interesting. Dinner at the Chinese Restaurant was wonderful. I ate so much that I can hardly walk afterward. Definitely try the Japanese Tuna, but don’t do the sushi rolls. The grilled salmon is yummy. IMPORTANT: go to COCO BONGO. The show was really amazing; I’ve never seen anything like this before for 40 bucks. Some people didn't like the fact that there’s no dance floor. It gets packed and kinda hard to move around. Also, from my experience, if you need to get a drink, walk to the bar. Don’t ask the waiter to get it because you can run into a jerky one who will ask you for $10 tips. And if you don’t give the tip, they will try to hustle everyone in your group. This can be really annoying. I got 4 drinks for my group, gave the guy $2, and he said, “at least 100 peso, what is this? You paid for the entrance, not the service… I need more…” We ran into the same kind of experience at Basic and Daddy Rock also. If you do the party hopping tour, you’re safe, those guys are very nice and polite. They deserve good tips. Oh, back to Coco Bongo, they play a variety of music, hip-hop, rap, jazz, Elvis, classic rock, pop, trance, house,… We really had a blast. Eric and I were hanging out with Fabi and Gabi, we just danced the night away…. Back to the hotel at 4:00 in the morning, nothing’s better than a hot cheese burger. Then the girls and us hang out at the beach until the sun rise. That was probably the best time of our trip. Writing this brings back so much memory… (I don’t know if you girls will read this or not, but Eric and I miss you girls big time…) Tuesday: Chitchen-Itza tour. Visiting this place alone is worth the trip to Cancun. We learned so much during this tour… If I start talking about it, this TR will go on forever, so, just go and experience it yourself. NOTE: eat a big breakfast and bring some snack with you, they don’t serve lunch until 3:00 and the food is not that great. Dinner at the Italian Restaurant was the best one in the whole trip. You should try the raw beef appetizer. It was more than delicious. The service was exceptionally good, the waiter is very professional and polite (I wish I remembered his name) ……… Well, for the Wednesday and Thursday was our chilled time. We didn’t do much, just hang out at the resort, did the massage, play more volleyball and I did more wind surfing. Thursday night Eric and I went downtown and did a bar hopping night. We ended up drinking so much Sol and Corona. We didn’t find anything very interesting except the salsa dancing at a local restaurant. We got bored and went to a strip club down at the Party Center. The place’s called “ONE” and it’s kinda hidden. Cover was $15, a beer was about $3. The place was alright, there wasn’t much dancing and stripping on the stage. Mostly the girls tried to get us to go to the back room for private time but we weren’t interested in paying to get laid. Got back at the hotel at 4:00, feeling like a week has passed by in 2 days. Every party has to end some time, so here we are, packing up and checking out at 5:00 in the morning. Overall, it was a great trip. We all enjoy it very much. 3 single guys can definitely have a wonderful time at BBG. Big thanks to everyone we met on the trip. It was our pleasure to hang out with you guys, Fabi, Gabi, Gabi2, John, Dave, James, Sean, Glenn, Clint, Wendy, Angela, Maria, Sharon, Ro, …….. (If I forgot anyone, you know I don’t mean to, I’m just bad bad bad with names). Thanks to all the cast member, Chinos, Lynn, Alejandra, Lalo, Omar… Can't leave the bartender and staffs out either, they did a great job and always keep the drinks flowing... We’ll be back soon, very soon……… Nam

| I never had that issue at coco bongos at all. We tipped him $10.00/couple and he took care of our drinks all night. We never got our own and our glasses never got empty. We'll worth it there. most bars are the same. Glad to see you had a good time. |

| I will be honest and say we hooked up with the worlds best tipper (we tipped also, but he was above and beyond) when we were there in October and because of our friend Norm we always had the best service everywhere we went. We really enjoyed the show at Coco Bongo's, but did not stay long after, due to alcohol consumption. But plan on going back. Now Nam.........PICTURES!!!!! WE LIVE FOR PICTURES!!!! Glad you had a great time and found some fun ppl to hook up with.

Sorry about the name, buddy! Well, you can't hardly remember anything happen that day, so can't blame me on the wrong name, right? Tequila V-ball is dangerous, that's why I only play beach v-ball. It's was great meeting you guys, too bad we only have that one day to hangout. So, when is the next trip? March, during spring break time, may be? Cheers!

I was the guy with the big spring break mug, you also have a pic from the iron man contest that I won but you got it of one of the other guys. Great to see you enjoyed yourself, I know I did and can't wait to go back. Jeff |
