Look @ the posts that mention Booze Cruises. There are several posted now. Steve that runs this board organizes them. Check out the dates on these that match with your dates and post your name that you are interested. It is that simple & they are fun

does the resort still have brown plastic milk glasses that i drank from when i was a kid, i can't drink beer or margaritas from milk glasses. should we bring our own glasses?

They are sort of white rather than brown plastic glasses that can be dropped without shttering around the pool yes.

Some folks bring their own mugs to drink from.

The Friday night cruise can only be booked in person at the hotel at the Towel Hut by the Sexy Pool.

So.. you can either head straight there when you arrive or make friends with someone that will get there before Friday and have them make the reservations for you Friday morning.

Make good friends cause they will probably have to pay for you before you arrive and there are no refunds. So they will be on the hook for your payment till you pay them back.

But it can be a great way to start a trip. It starts around 5:30 - 6:30 PM, depending on sundown, so make sure you will be there befre then.

Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know how much it is? We've always talked about doing a booze cruise, but always ended up doing something else. So we figured we would get it out of the way this time..

Ya know I should know it off the top of my head but I'm not 100% sure. I'm thinking $45 PP but that includes 2 hours drinking on the boat, dinner at Carlos and Charlies (buffet), two hours drinking there and the bus ride back to TTR. You usually can head off to either the City or Senior Frogs (depending on which is the choice that night) and have your entrance cover paid to get in, just have to do the cash bar after that. That is of course if you are still standing.

Bracelets – Usage is mandatory. In case of damage go to the front desk for replacement. In case of loss a charge of $50 USD will apply. (They aren’t messing around on this one. Make sure it’s tight enough not to slip off. Saw several people searching the grounds for their bracelet in vain before paying the $50. In some cases within a few hours of arriving.)

Silver Jewelry Shop – Open everyday from 9:00 AM till 10:00 PM. (She has some really good deals here on quality stuff. Since she’s in the hotel with lots of Repeaters if she didn’t sell quality stuff she’d be out of business.)

we stayed at Temptations 01/26 to 02/02 and ate at the a'la cartes every night. We didn't have reservations the first two nights but we did manage to get in asking politely if they had any cancellations. We had reservations the next four nights (not a big problem getting them if you're flexible with your times and show up early to book, be there by 9:45 to book) and I made a reservation for Sunday night (our final night) on Sunday morning. We had a choice of times for Sunday (but it was Super Bowl Sunday).

All of the restaurants appeared to be open EVERY night during our stay but maybe that is unusual?

Best restaurant by far is the Italian - Il Piacere, followed by either Village Wok or Bellavista, they are both excellent. Margaritas was the "worst" of the four but it was still very, very good. I don't recommend the steak.

We ate at either the buffet or at Margaritas for breakfast and lunch, depending upon our mood on the particular day. Food was also excellent at both of these restaurants with what I would consider a good selection.

Enjoy your stay!

EAT AT IL PIACERE! You won't regret it! We estimate the two five-course dinners we had in that restaurant would have set us back at least $150.00 per night here in Ontario with wine, dessert, and Sexy Coffee.

the booze cruise is done by Steve and its $55 a person. Its most of the day. You go out to Isla mujeres for a lot of fun, snorkel on the way out and party the whole time. Its open bar(included in the fee) and a must if you are at TTR. Especially with Steve.. he is a great guy. any questions, pm me and I can fill you in. we are coming back this year in June again...we looked at other places and even Cabo but just cant stay away.

Yes The City, Bulldogs, and the other names that show up at 10:30 PM are the night clubs they go out to. The only real theme night they have is the PJs Lingerie Casino night. And if you wear yours you get to play the games. Otherwise you get to watch unless you strip off clothes and bet them at the tables.

It's now getting to be close to a year old so if it were exactly still the same I would be really shocked. Best to use it at this point for more of a guideline as to what they might be doing during the day. Every day they post the new schedule about 8 AM out by the sexy pool so that would be where to check.

I'll update this in about 2 months or so when I get back.

Yes. That $45 is basically the entrance and all you can drink fee to the club you would be going to that night. It is per person. So everyone doesn't go out every night.... although there are some that do.

Well, not part of what u all talking about but suits the temptation resort tread, lol. I went last year and met a girl at temptation that worked giving some info to guests and don´t know more what. She was a short, blonde girl whose name was Britty. She was canadian... i asked her out but she said she couldn´t that night, the problem is that was my last night there ( i couldn´t previous days cause she didn´t go or i was too drunk to be taken seriously) is she still there? any way to contact her?
