Thanks for the info!- One more silly questions- as far as soft drinks (or mixers as I call them)- Do they carry Diet Coke?? Bacardi Light Rum? How about any top shelf aged Rum like Ron Zapata?

Diet coke is know as Coke Lite. and yes they have it (by the diet or lite name, they understand both)

As for Bacardi Light Rum, do you mean the white or clear version? If so, yes they have it. And it's their top brand. The do also have the Captain...

Thank Jamie,
I am good with the light stuff, but Rich enjoys the top shelf, so I guess we will have to bring along a little extra..... Cannot wait until Wednedsay!!!

Default TTR goes clubbing prices

Does anyone know if they charge a reduced price if you want to go to the clubs but not drink alcohol? I'm talking about going with the staff and guests from the resort.

Thanks!

I can't say for sure, but my guess is no. If you go with "the resort" then you will need to pay the cover. You can always take a cab to the club that night outside of the resort group and meet them there. If memory serves, you need to find your own way back anyways. Cab fare is pretty cheap too.

Hi Jamie, and thank you for the information. Are you two going to be there in September? I hope so! Anyway, about the free lobster, I'm thinking of booking my room through RCI instead, will RCI members receive the lobster too? Either way, I'm so happy to be finally going back after a 2 1/2 year absence.

Welcome Allison, on Q 1 don't think there is another booze cruise except the Fri night--On the other hand by the last night of partying at Temptations the hangovers are over lol you might say you're well acclimated by then and Terry and I partied till 3 am at Patty O's and woke at 7 had bkfst then back to room to pack (slept on plane) and we ain't as young as we once were lol---
On Q2 don't think they change things for that wk but someone else may know--
Overall have a great time while you are there if ya don't it's cause you're not trying--cheers
Luci

Nice Shoes is shown on the map just above the parking lot (The pink dot). Actually, the location is closer to what is shown as the "Hospitality Room".

Paty'O's is where most of the partying takes place.

The cigar lounge is no longer open and just used occasionally for private functions.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the clearer map as well..better resolution now and much easier to read...I take it this is the "brochure/map" they give you once you arrive?

They are available at the front desk. I think you have to ask for one though.

I see on the map it shows there is a mini market right outside the resort. Can you get RedBull there?

Yes you can...you can get it at the hotel gift shop too. We'll be heading to walmart on our 2nd day there to stock up. Got to have the red bull!

Unhappy Spring Breakers

I have a Newbie question It might sound abit off but my wife and I will be in TTR from the 3rd to 13 March (1st weekend of Spring Break)

Does TTR entertain student types over 21 years of age at Spring Break ??

Being such and adult oriented resort we aren't looking forward to being inundated with 20 something males everywere.

Are we wrong to think this way?
We are coming to TTR on a getaway from our 20 something kids.

There are always a few but TTR doesn't market itself as a Spring Break hotel. Also since it's a few km from the main cluster of bars in the hotel zone you shouldn't notice a crazy amount of kids.

It's us in the 30 and up range that can be really crazy anyways

We were trying to figure out the best place to get a room - we have made our request. But to the repeaters - what is the best room you have stayed in (rm #) ?

Default Rooms

Can you request a certain room or do you pretty much get what they give you at check-in?

We requeste a room overlooking the quiet pool, but we'll see what we get at check-in next week.

We did the same - we'll see what we get - we are not complainers at all and will be happy with whatever we are given but thought we would ask in case someone knew of a specific room number they personally enjoyed the most. We just cannot wait to get into the sun, sand and pool! And wash it all down with ridiculous amounts of alcohol
9 more days, hurry up!
